Administer employee benefits and leave programs for a mixed workforce, including eligibility, enrollments, claims, leave tracking, compliance, and return-to-work coordination. Maintain confidential HRIS and payroll data, reconcile invoices, support open enrollment, coordinate performance reviews and surveys, prepare audits, and provide employee support across local sites.

Serves as a strategic and operational HR partner to leaders and employees. Advises managers on performance, employee relations, policy, conflict, workforce planning, recruitment, compensation, development, and labor relations. Uses HR data to identify trends and recommend interventions, conducts investigations, supports compliance, maintains confidential records, and coordinates approved employment actions. The role requires strong judgment, discretion, relationship management, and knowledge of employment and labor laws.

Partners with the CEO and executive team to drive strategic initiatives, coordinate cross-functional execution, monitor organizational priorities, and improve operational effectiveness. Provides executive decision support through research, analysis, briefings, and presentations; facilitates leadership meetings and tracks action items. Manages confidential special projects, board materials, communications, crisis initiatives, and organizational change while supporting fundraising goals and stakeholder engagement.
