The Senior Director, Business Development will grow Tishman Speyer’s third-party real estate services platform by developing senior institutional relationships, originating and converting new business, and managing a qualified opportunity pipeline. The role targets owners, lenders, investors, servicers, family offices, and industry advisors, leading proposals, client solutions, negotiations, and execution. Responsibilities also include expanding existing client relationships, coordinating global expertise, and using CRM, relationship intelligence, AI, and data-driven tools to improve business development effectiveness.

Lead marketing, negotiating, and closing of commercial real estate loans for developments, acquisitions, and refinancings. Provide market research, financial modeling, lender diligence and negotiation, and advise internal teams on optimal debt structures. Build lender relationships, produce portfolio and market analyses, and support debt placements and syndications.

Lead global tax structuring and execution for complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, fund formations, and joint ventures. Provide partnership/REIT/FIRPTA expertise, manage external advisors, advise senior leadership on tax risk and strategy, coordinate due diligence and tax accounting, and drive strategic tax initiatives across domestic and cross-border investments.
