Produce and edit longform podcast video episodes and platform-native shortform content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Shorts. Manage Descript and Pro Tools workflows, multi-camera assembly, motion graphics, captions, thumbnails, and publishing. Direct host intros, write and edit scripts, mentor freelance editors and designers, and collaborate with editorial, social, and audience teams. Apply strong news judgment and platform expertise to improve content quality, audience engagement, and performance.

Lead Vulture’s social media department and team, shaping platform strategy, creating and publishing content, growing audience engagement, supporting subscriptions and sponsorships, and using analytics to influence editorial decisions. Develop social franchises, coordinate coverage across editorial teams and live events, evaluate emerging platforms, manage freelancers and budgets, and establish efficient cross-team processes.

Edit and produce full-length podcast episodes and shortform video content for YouTube and other platforms. Create motion graphics, captions, lower thirds, split screens, overlays, and branded visual treatments. Owns Vox Media’s enterprise network across offices, data centers, cloud, studios, and remote environments. Responsibilities include Juniper and Cato administration, LAN/WAN and wireless design, routing and switching, troubleshooting, monitoring, migrations, vendor management, AWS and systems support, identity infrastructure, automation, documentation, and on-call incident response. The role also provides onsite service desk assistance and supports infrastructure projects with minimal business disruption.

Lead a team of 3–4 reporters to assign and edit political and policy reporting, produce fast analysis and long-form features, shape coverage strategy, collaborate across audio/video/newsletter teams, and grow audience engagement while maintaining rigorous, explanatory journalism standards.
