Programme Overview
The Markets internship provides exposure to the way we help institutional clients manage risk, navigate volatility, and access liquidity across global markets. This ten-week programme is designed for students who want to understand how financial markets operate in practice.
You will work alongside teams in areas such as FX and Rates Sales and Trading, Fixed Income Sales, and Macro Strategy. These teams support clients including asset managers, hedge funds, and global institutions. You will be involved in day-to-day activities, contribute to team initiatives, and develop your understanding of pricing, execution, and market analysis.
Summer Analyst Programme 2027
The programme duration is 10 weeks starting in late June 2027 and is designed to provide you with the unique opportunity to discover our CIB business, culture, and how we collaborate to deliver solutions for our clients. The programme offers organised activities such as classroom training and networking opportunities to boost your professional development.

  • Fixed Income Sales and Trading
  • Structured Product Groups (SPG)
During the Markets Internship, your responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting sales and trading teams with client and market analysis
  • Preparing market updates, research notes, and presentation materials
  • Helping teams monitor market trends, risks, and trade ideas
  • Contributing to desk initiatives and client strategy discussions
  • Building familiarity with products, pricing, execution, and risk management
Required
  • Penultimate year undergraduate with an expected graduation date from January to June 2028
  • Demonstrable interest in finance and financial markets through work experience or extra-curricular achievement
  • A record of academic excellence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across different levels and geographies.
  • Applicants must have the existing right to work in Singapore.
Desired
  • Knowledge of an additional Asian language would be beneficial due to the international nature of our APAC business and client relationships
  • An engaging and collaborative approach, with the ability to remain organised, adaptable and attentive to detail
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and solve analytical problems, with a basic understanding of mathematical principles
  • Sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
