Job Overview
We are seeking a 3D Motion Designer to join our creative team at T-Mobile Advertising Solutions (T-Ads). In this role, you will be responsible for bringing brands to life across the physical world, in Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising screens. From massive anamorphic (forced perspective) billboards in major city centers to various screens and screen sizes across the globe, you will create visually stunning, high-impact 3D motion graphics that stop pedestrians in their tracks.
This role is essential for delivering visual design and involves creating, editing, and enhancing digital designs for DOOH advertising campaigns. The role requires collaboration with creative, copywriters, marketing teams, product managers, engineering, and other teams to ensure cohesive output. Success is measured by the quality, timeliness, and alignment of design work with brand standards and project requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, and implement high-fidelity 3D motion design assets specifically optimized for various DOOH formats including anamorphic/3D billboards.
  • Handle the entire motion design pipeline—from initial style frames and 3D modeling/texturing to animation, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
  • Work seamlessly with static design layouts provided in storyboards, translating 2D digital brand imagery into dynamic 3D environments.
  • Support Senior Designers in their high priority/complexity projects and collaborate with creative team to develop concepts and content strategy for projects.
  • Contribute to the creation and evolution of T-Ads design resources and tools, such as style guides, onboarding manuals, and templates.
  • Partner closely with internal and external teams to translate brand briefs into compelling visual narratives.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 3+ years of relevant design experience in an agency or corporate environment with formal design training and a strong portfolio. (Preferred)
  • Previous experience with web/social design. (Preferred)

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $67,100 - $121,000

National Base Pay Range: $61,000 - $110,000

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results.

The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
