The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to prospect new exhibitors, develop existing relationship, collaborate with top design brands and forge strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is based in NYC area, creative, proactive, and highly organized, with a passion for the design industry.


Prior experience in the design and interior field is required, as well as a strong ability to drive initiatives and build meaningful relationships. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Oversee the sales process from initial contact through event staging
  • Build strong relationships with influential and/or advocate accounts
  • Maintain established customer base while identifying new customers through prospecting and timely fulfillment of customer requests
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain, code and update history and relevant records
  • Collaborate with the expo marketing, operations, content teams in support of expanding exhibitors’ opportunities and ROI
  • Attend industry events, and travel occasionally to other trade events


As a qualified candidate, you will have:

  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of demonstrated sales success
  • Prior trade show sales experience.
  • Design industry experience.
  • Software literate: MS Office, a2z and Salesforce is a plus
  • Strong sales/negotiation skills with a proven track record with targeting appropriate prospects and closing sales while effectively building relationships
  • Experience managing key customer account relationships, executive-level presentation experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail in a deadline driven, team- oriented environment.
  • Willing to work from the NYC office 3 days a week

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan eligible

Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
