What You’ll Do

40% - Forecast & Analysis

  • Support the annual budget and monthly projections.
  • Assist in automating standard processes and reporting to reduce reporting burden and increase meaningful/value added analyses.

25% - Other

  • Work closely with internal accounting team to provide support documentation and commentary for annual external audit requests.

25% - Month-end close responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal accounting team during the close process to ensure proper accruals and deferrals.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly variance analysis as it compares to actual vs. forecast.

10% - Perform ad-hoc analysis or special projects

Who You Are

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and adhering to deadlines
  • Strong time management skills and ability to switch focus as necessary
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be able to adapt to changes
  • Self-confident and proactive in building relationships internally and externally
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with all members of the organization and all levels of management

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting
  • 1+ relevant years of accounting/finance experience, preferably with some experience in a transaction support or corporate finance role
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and US GAAP is a must
  • Experience with Great Plains or similar G/L systems a plus
  • Interest in the media industry is a strong plus, though prior experience is not a necessity

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • CPA or equivalent highly favorable, but not required

Salary Range

$66,300.00 - $80,000.00
