Who You Are
You are a dynamic individual with an interest in technical program management and a passion for data solutions.  You will report to the Director of CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) & Retail clients on the Data Enablement team within our Product Practice, leading efforts to develop and advance Horizon’s data-driven capabilities.

With a focus on enabling internal stakeholders, brand teams, and business partners, you will specialize in the CPG & Retail industries to provide targeted data solutions. You will act as the single point of contact to onboard and maintain client data used in Horizon’s Connected Marketing Platform known as blu., and other products.

We are building something big at Horizon Media, pioneering AI and data-driven solutions in the media industry in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.  You’ll be part of a nimble product team, working alongside passionate team members committed to innovation, collaboration and building enterprise grade products for our end users.

What You’ll Do
Key Strategic Responsibilities:

Technical Project and Account Management – 45%

  • Leverage exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data solutions and deliverables.

  • Develop and apply CPG & Retail industry expertise to deliver tailored data solutions to clients.

  • Leverage proactive and creative problem-solving capabilities to address data-related challenges and mitigate risks.

  • Develop and manage partnerships with clients and internal teams to ensure data needs are being met.

  • Become a SME (subject matter expert) in Horizon blu. and identity resolution for digital media workflows.

Data Strategy – 30%

  • Refine data requirements and align them with measurable business outcomes.

  • Facilitate collaboration across teams to translate business use cases into data-driven solutions.

  • Become a subject matter expert in data discovery and transformation processes, developing hands-on experience in key tools such as Snowflake, AWS, and DBT.

Data Vendor Management – 25%

  • Develop and manage partnerships with legal teams and external vendors.

  • Execute assessments of data vendors and make recommendations based on alignment to stakeholder needs.

  • Become a subject matter expert on media and technology partners, including data capabilities, data matching methodologies, and technology offerings.

  • Monitor the landscape of relevant data partners to stay up-to-date on relevant trends and innovations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in product development and/or marketing with 1+ years in the CPG/Retail space.

  • Comfortable working with tools such as Monday.com, JIRA, Snowflake, AWS and DBT for project management and data analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Experience with data enrichment, hygiene, and integration.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 

  • Experience with agile methodologies to manage tasks and workflows.

Salary Range

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education,  licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.  As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.  We provide a competitive total rewards package including a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, company paid holidays and unlimited paid time off (PTO), mental health and wellness resources, pet insurance, childcare resources, identity theft insurance, fertility assistance programs, and fitness reimbursement.
