Newsroom & Digital Content Experiences
- Design, publish, and maintain engaging experiences across the corporate Newsroom.
- Collaborate with editors and writers to transform stories into visually compelling, easy-to-consume digital experiences.
- Ensure content is accessible, accurate, mobile-friendly, and aligned with brand standards.
- Continuously improve content presentation, discoverability, and user experience.
Employee Digital Channels
- Design and support digital experiences across the employee intranet and enterprise newsletters.
- Contribute to enterprise communication campaigns through thoughtful page design, layouts, and digital content presentation.
- Support digital signage, employee advocacy, and future communication channels as business needs evolve.
Creative Storytelling
- Develop graphics, banners, infographics, thumbnails, and other digital assets that enhance storytelling.
- Apply visual design principles to create engaging, consistent, and accessible experiences across communication channels.
- Maintain alignment with New York Life brand standards and accessibility guidelines.
Optimization & Innovation
- Apply analytics, audience insights, and user feedback to improve digital experiences.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, and other emerging technologies to improve productivity and content quality.
- Stay current on trends in digital communications, AI, accessibility, and employee experience.
Collaboration & Partnership
- Partner with Editorial & Channels, Marketing, Technology, Compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality communication experiences.
- Contribute ideas that improve channel effectiveness, content engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement efforts across digital communication platforms and workflows.
What You'll Bring:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting digital communications, content publishing, intranet management, or digital experience design.
- Experience working with enterprise content management systems.
- Strong visual design, digital publishing, and user experience skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience supporting internal or corporate communications.
- Familiarity with enterprise communication platforms such as Staffbase, Adobe Experience Manager, Interact Software or similar solutions.
- Experience designing enterprise newsletters and digital communication campaigns.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, analytics, and content governance.
- Experience using AI-powered productivity and creative tools.
