Job Description

  • Manage projects end-to-end, from planning and design through procurement, execution and handover.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, costs and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Oversee the design development process, ensuring alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Manage tender and procurement activities, including evaluations, negotiations and contract awards.
  • Facilitate statutory, regulatory and other required approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and governance requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain appropriate reporting, documentation and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation measures.
  • Monitor contractor and consultant performance to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality and timeline.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, completion and handover activities.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Construction related degree (e.g. Project Management, Construction Management, Design, Engineering, etc) or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in project management or construction projects (e.g. project manager, construction manager, procurement, project manager, vendor, consultant etc.).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with experience in people management.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive outcomes on behalf of clients, develop new business, leverage current opportunities, and coordinate with construction and design teams to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Experience in client management with solid experience in client facing environment that requires incumbent to utilise critical business development skills and advisory skills to enhance project delivery on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing.
