Job Description

Job Title: Associate Director

City: New York

State: New York or any other unanticipated worksites/locations throughout the U.S.

  1. Support the Director of Project Management in managing new and existing client relationships, driving new revenue through the generation of new work and contract renewals on existing accounts. 
  2. Ensure assigned work group develops, executes, and delivers a project portfolio that consistently meets established key performance indicators for the client account, while following company and client policies and procedures.
  3. Act as the key point of contact to the client overcoming delivery and commercial issues whilst preparing formal and ad hoc reports focusing on time, cost and quality targets.
  4. Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities. 
  5. Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients and drive the client's diversification agenda.
  6. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  7. Ensure client invoices are accurate and issued on a timely basis and follow up on accounts receivables 
  8. Interpret and apply knowledge on sophisticated documents affecting real estate / construction projects, including but not limited to agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, architectural and engineering design, construction documentation, and construction administration / management practices.
  9. Work closely with the client to define vendor schedule requirements.
  10. Participate in project team risk evaluations, incorporating the defined risks into quantitative impacts to the overall project cost and schedule.
  11. Work closely with the project team to stay informed on status of project changes, incorporating and communicating these to the project team to allow for approvals in the change management process.
  12. Hold vendors accountable for required schedule updates and reporting to maintain timely and accurate updates of the master schedule ensuring that the schedules adhere to the defined process and quality expectations.
  13. Ensure the project stays on track and delivers on time and within budget, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
  14. Lead the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  15. Plan for and manage ongoing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
  16. Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
  17. Ensure the production of a detailed project plan.
  18. Monitor and advise on project finances.
  19. Perform the role of the Commission Manager, taking overall responsibility for end-to-end service delivery of commissions of varying sizes and complexities.
  20. Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
  21. Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications.
  22. Build, sustain and facilitate relationships with project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

JOB TIME:                                   Full Time

 

SALARY RANGE: $185,000.00 TO $200,000.00/year

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Building & Construction and 6 years of experience in job offered or 6 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
