Associate Product Manager

THE ROLE

Daymark Health is looking for an Associate Product Manager to serve as an operational center point for our product and engineering team. This is a great fit for someone with a few years of product experience who is ready to take on real ownership. You’ll keep our proprietary Care Management platform moving forward day to day — writing and refining tickets, keeping the backlog organized, coordinating QA, triaging bugs and feature requests, and serving as a first point of contact for clinical and operational teams’ tech support questions. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, and Clinical teams, building the operational rigor that lets our small product team move quickly and reliably while directly supporting the people who deliver care to our patients every day.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own the backlog: Keep the product backlog organized — refining tickets, tagging and prioritizing work, and making sure items are clear and ready for engineering pickup.
• Write requirements: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design leads to translate needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and lightweight specs.
• Run product operations: Help plan and run day-to-day product rituals — sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, retros — and keep cross-functional partners informed on status, risks, and blockers.
• Triage bugs and feature requests: Serve as the first stop for incoming bug reports and feature requests. Investigate issues to understand root cause and impact, and work with Engineering to prioritize and track fixes to resolution.
• Support our clinical and care teams: Be a first point of contact for clinical and operational teams’ tech support questions, troubleshooting issues directly and routing more complex escalations to Engineering.
• Coordinate QA and releases: Help plan and run QA/UAT for new features, testing functionality, verifying fixes, and confirming releases are ready to ship. Communicate what’s changing to the teams it affects.
• Maintain documentation: Keep product specs, workflows, known issues, and release notes clear and up to date so teams across Daymark always know what’s shipped and what’s in flight.
• Support discovery and research: Gather feedback from clinical and care teams through shadowing, interviews, and data, and help translate what you learn into clear problem statements and opportunities.
• Operate with a bias to action: Jump in on urgent operational needs and help solve problems even when they fall outside your core scope.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience: You bring 2+ years of professional experience in product management, product operations, project management, QA, or a comparable operational role. Experience in healthcare is required, preferably in a care delivery or clinical software context.
• Stakeholder Management: You have strong organizational and project management skills and know how to bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving situations. You can manage a busy backlog, a stream of bug reports, and multiple stakeholders at once without dropping details.
• Strong communicator: You communicate clearly and confidently with a range of audiences, including clinical staff, and can translate between technical and non-technical language and between clinical workflows and product requirements.
• Ownership mindset: You take initiative and are comfortable operating with autonomy. You don’t need a senior level of expertise to get things done well — you figure out what’s needed and make it happen, and you know when to loop in others.
• Healthcare fluency: You have direct experience in the healthcare space and are motivated to deeply understand clinician, care team, and patient workflows. Experience with EHR systems or care management/coordination platforms is a plus.
• Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable with product and project management tools such as Jira, Linear, Asana, Notion, Claude or Figma, and you pick up new systems quickly.
• Detail-oriented: You sweat the details on documentation, QA, and requirements — in healthcare, small gaps in a spec or a missed edge case can affect real patient care.
• Collaborative: You work well across teams and enjoy partnering with engineers, designers, clinicians, and operators alike.

This role is fully remote but we are ideally looking for someone based in New York, Philadelphia, or Boston to align with our team's current geographic distribution. 

Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on location & experience.
