Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support our digital transformation initiative as the distribution team’s primary point of contact for data entry as needed for existing and new rights management systems;

  • Support efforts to build out a sustainable system for tracking and researching rights in alignment with the rights management system;

  • Helps support relationships between WNET and distribution partners;

  • Provide on-going archival data entry and research for titles in our library;

  • Music and Visual cue sheets - ensure cue sheets are delivered for each program (broadcast and digital) and develop a tracking system within Airtable to ensure they are delivered and completed in a timely manner;

  • Review all visual cue sheets from in-house productions for accuracy and upload to our legal database;

  • Partner closely and communicate regularly with Legal, Rights & Clearances, Music Services, Finance, Production, Post-Production, and the Archive to ensure alignment across divisions;

  • Other relevant duties, as assigned.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be extremely organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to support multiple projects under tight deadlines, and will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Additional qualifications include:

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related field;

  • Experience with research and database management;

  • Working knowledge of Air Table, preferred;

  • Media negotiation skills, preferred;

  • Interest in learning about non-profit media distribution.

The WNET Group offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary ranges are based on benchmarked nonprofit and industry related data provided by an outside consulting firm and are commensurate with skills and experience. The hiring salary range for this

position is $54,000.00 - $56,000.00. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
