Own Ornn’s brand, messaging, visual identity, social channels, content, and communications. Ornn is building the financial infrastructure for AI compute. Our price indices are live on Bloomberg Terminal. We structure and trade compute hedging instruments. And we're now building a platform that brings exchange-grade mechanics like order management, matching, scheduling, and settlement to how compute capacity gets reserved and allocated. We're a lean team in New York, backed by leading venture and strategic investors.
This role will own how Ornn shows up in the world: the brand, the story, and every channel it reaches people through. Compute is turning into an asset class, and the people we need to reach (neocloud operators, AI labs and startups, traders, institutional investors, journalists and future hires) each need to understand what Ornn does and why it matters. The role demands someone who can take a technical, market-structure story and make it clear, credible and worth paying attention to.
Day to day, the role splits between building the brand, running our social and content channels, and handling communications around launches, data releases and company news. The position sits close to the founders, GTM and the product team, because what we say publicly has to match what we are building and selling.
- Own the Ornn brand: voice, visual identity and messaging, and keep it consistent across the website, decks, product and events.
- Run Ornn's social channels (X, LinkedIn and others), including a regular posting cadence, founder content and commentary on what is happening in the compute market.
- Turn Ornn's price data and market insight into content people want to read and share: market notes, charts, newsletters and short-form posts.
- Lead communications for launches, partnerships and data releases, working with press, partners and our investors on announcements.
- Plan and support events, conferences and community moments, including recruiting events.
- Track what is working across channels and report on reach, engagement and inbound interest.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a brand, marketing, content, social or communications role, ideally at an early-stage company.
- Excellent writing. You can explain a complex idea simply and in a voice people remember.
- A portfolio of work you owned: accounts you grew, campaigns you ran, content you made.
- An operator mentality and high agency. You ship without waiting for a brief.
- Good taste and strong judgment about what to say publicly and what not to.
- Design skills or comfort with tools like Figma, Canva and video editing.
- Interest in financial infrastructure, commodity markets, or how compute is evolving into an asset class.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience marketing to technical or financial audiences, such as fintech, crypto, trading, infrastructure or AI.
- Press and media relationships, or experience running PR for launches.
Ornn is creating a new market, and new markets are won partly on trust and attention. The way operators, buyers, investors and candidates first hear about Ornn shapes whether they take the next call. This role will define that first impression and build the audience every other part of the business draws on.
Benefits include competitive salary, meaningful equity, health coverage, free meals, and additional benefits. This is a leadership role with significant strategic impact and equity upside.
Ornn is committed to building a diverse team. We evaluate candidates based on their ability to do the work, not on pedigree or background. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences.
