What You’ll Do:

We're looking for a Brand Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for the creative components of Nexxen’s global marketing campaigns, designing advertisements, video assets, presentations, digital assets across email, web, and social media properties, and experiential assets including signage, invitations and event landing pages and microsites that help us to own our space in the digital advertising industry. The Brand Designer will drive our visual identity forward, producing exceptional, visually engaging, beautiful designs that represent and elevate Nexxen’s brand identity.

Reporting into the Art Director/Senior Brand Designer, you will apply your experience and broaden your expertise in bringing our brand stories to life via multiple creative campaigns and deliverables.

Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office three days a week and remotely for the rest.

Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily include:

  • Embrace project ownership and design vision in the creation of branded digital and experiential marketing materials
  • Collaborate with different teams at all levels, driving projects autonomously from start to finish, anticipating, addressing and managing stakeholder feedback, approval, and post-campaign follow-up
  • Apply broad knowledge of design with a hands-on approach and high skill levels in branding, digital design, presentation design, and motion graphics
  • Grow the team’s capabilities, optimizing our materials and processes by consistently, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities, collaborating with team management on how to address them, and executing independently when needed
  • Create thoughtful, narrative-driven visual experiences — with a strong grasp of hierarchy, flow, and storytelling across formats like product launches, research decks, and campaigns
  • Balance creativity with performance by applying a strategic lens to everything from display ads to video content
  • Contribute fresh ideas and challenge the status quo, bringing curiosity, innovation, and bold thinking to campaign development and brand evolution
  • Work iteratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly and collaborating with agility across cross-functional teams

What Will I Bring?

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in brand design, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment or agency supporting technology-focused brands
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma
  • Proven experience designing motion graphics for video content, including animations to supplement talking head long-form video, short-form explainers, sizzles, and social-first video assets
  • Visualization and presentation skills to convey ideas clearly through storyboards, mood boards, wireframes, mockups, etc., during the creative development process
  • Ability to design PowerPoint presentations and research reports that are both brand-consistent and visually engaging
  • Experience creating compelling display ad creatives, with an understanding of digital ad spaces and performance best practices
  • Experience creating HTML emails using modular design system of CRM/Marketing platforms, with a mobile first strong understanding of layout, and formatting
  • Competency in WordPress web design—comfortable working within Nexxen’s theme to create landing pages and banners
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills—able to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adhere to processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable receiving feedback and working cross-functionally with the Digital, Research, and Operations team
  • Dedication to staying up to date on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our assets fresh, while still following brand guidelines
  • Positive, solutions-focused disposition to proactively resolve challenges and mitigate risks to project plans
  • Ad tech industry experience is not required, but an intellectual curiosity to learn more about the industry is preferred

Plus — what sets you apart:

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to connect visual design to marketing objectives and business goals
  • Strength in storytelling — you can translate complex or abstract ideas into clear, impactful design narratives
  • Confident in articulating and presenting your creative decisions to stakeholders at varying levels
  • A forward-thinking, curious problem-solver who challenges the status quo and brings fresh ideas, new methodologies, and energy to the table
  • Bonus: familiarity with UX/UI best practices, design systems and illustration skills

At Nexxen, we value our differences, varied experiences, and collective contribution. We know that not everyone takes the same career path, so if you don’t match this job description perfectly, don’t worry! We would rather see your application than risk missing out on your potential to make an impact.

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in New York City is estimated at $80,000 - $95,000 at the time of posting. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.
