Business Architecture Analysts derive, interpret, and translate detailed business requirements into comprehensive technical software requirements and architectural specifications by evaluating business capabilities, system architectures, integration landscapes, and technology constraints across large-scale initiatives or business contract pursuits.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication between different stakeholders, translating between business needs and technical requirements
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and alternatives
  • Documenting functional and non-functional requirements to drive architectural and engineering decisions
  • Partner with IT peers such as Product Leadership, Engineering Leadership, and Architecture teams to define detailed technical requirements and contribute to architectural design documentation, ensuring alignment across system components, integration patterns, and solution design principles
  • Collaborate and communicate with product areas and their respective feature teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Write and maintain documentation which could include descriptions of program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and/or corrections
  • Develop comprehensive end-to-end test plans for epics/workstreams to validate feature delivery meets documented requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience developing technical requirements for the implementation of new software
  • 2+ years experience developing test cases for implemented software
  • Experience in technical writing and software documentation, including the ability to interpret technical specification documents (e.g., system designs, data models, interface specs) and derive clear, actionable requirements from them
  • Experience working as a liaison between IT professionals and operational stakeholders
  • Advanced understanding of database structures and data models, along with a strong ability to analyze and interpret system relationships between applications-including data flows, integration points, and overall architecture
  • Demonstrated successful implementation of large-scale technology projects
  • Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven capability to work independently as well as on a team in both a lead and support role and prioritize work while meeting critical deadlines
  • United States citizenship is required for this position
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance
  • Up to 10% travel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS) or other related field with an emphasis in MIS
  • 4+ years of experience working as a liaison between IT, internal and external business leads and end user community
  • Experience working in a health care environment
  • Experience supporting government contracts

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
