Make high-volume outbound calls to retailers to generate and replenish accounts, close sales, enter orders and scorecards in Excel and client systems, provide customer service, solve problems, and analyze sales records while reporting to the Inside Sales Director.
The Virtual Sales Associate Business Manager must be able to communicate effectively and persuasively to a high volume of people throughout the workday, will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization's products. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. Reports to the Director of the Inside Sales Team.
Candidates located near an Acosta Group Office will be expected to work a Hybrid work schedule. Our Hybrid schedule is Monday through Thursday in office each week.
Responsibilities- Initiates sales calls to customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories.
- Contacts retailers and explains features and merits of products or services offered by the client, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
- Creates new accounts. Interact with new and existing customer or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered by the client.
- Must have the ability to close transactions
- Must be able to calculate and quote prices
- Client proprietary system planning
- Must have Excel experience for order entry and daily scorecard entries
- Provides outstanding customer service
- Ability to problem solve based on client resources
- Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales
Education
- High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in business emails
- Basic math skills (calculations, percentages)
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- 1+ years of previous sales experience (inside or outside sales)
- Excel Skills – Must be able to perform Excel functions at basic to mid-level
- Strong oral and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
