The Director of Business Development will play a critical role in shaping Lightricks’ future by driving partnerships that accelerate the adoption of our AI-powered solutions in the advertising, entertainment, and tech industries. This role requires a strategic thinker who can forge relationships, close impactful deals, and work collaboratively across internal teams to execute big-picture opportunities.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role, ideal for someone passionate about Entertainment, storytelling, and the intersection of AI and creativity.

What you will be doing

Industry-Specific Partnership Strategy

  • Identify high-value opportunities in the advertising, entertainment, production, and technology sectors.
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies that establish LTX Studio and Popular Pays as indispensable tools for creative workflows in these industries.
  • Tailor approaches to meet the specific needs of partners in advertising agencies, production companies, and media studios.
  • Drive B2C partnerships for our mobile apps, targeting brands and platforms that align with user growth and engagement strategies.

Negotiation & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across key industries, from creative executives to business leads.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements, balancing short-term wins with long-term goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the bridge between partners and internal teams (Product, Marketing, R&D, Legal), ensuring seamless execution.
  • Advocate for partners' needs internally to influence product roadmaps and co-marketing initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor a small business development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Set clear objectives and provide ongoing feedback to drive individual and team success.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Analyze partnership performance and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Continuously refine strategies to optimize outcomes and adapt to industry trends.
Your skills and experience
  • 7+ years in business development or partnerships, with a proven track record in advertising, entertainment, production, or tech.
  • Deep understanding of these industries, including key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Strong network within advertising agencies, production companies, and media ecosystems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across organizations and cultures.
  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and deal-closing expertise.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Experience with AI-driven tools or platforms.
  • Familiarity with the Creator Economy and emerging trends in content creation.
Benefits 
  • Expected salary range is $240,000-$300,000
