About the Role
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global certification and assessment platform. You will be the driving force behind our technology vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and product strategy. This is a high-impact leadership position that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technology vision, architecture, and execution of our global certification and assessment platform
- Build and scale a world-class engineering team, driving hiring, mentoring, and culture
- Architect and optimize platforms for AI certification delivery, learning systems, and analytics tools
- Work directly with the CEO, product, and business teams to align tech initiatives with market strategy
- Stay ahead of AI, ML, and blockchain trends to ensure cutting-edge innovation
- Implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective engineering practices
- Represent the tech vision in strategic collaborations and leadership meetings
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field from a top-tier institution
- 7–15 years of technical experience with proven engineering team leadership
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, cloud (AWS/Azure), APIs, system design, and data pipelines
- Strong track record of shipping complex products at scale
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
- Prior startup or founding experience
- Familiarity with certification or EdTech platforms
- Based in the U.S. or experienced in working with global, distributed teams
