Description

About us:

New York Preschool & Kids Club is a premier early childhood education and enrichment program serving modern New York families through our combination of enrichment classes and preschool education.  With multiple schools across New York City, NYPKC blends a research-backed, play-based curriculum with a fun and supportive environment, delivering a full family experience for children and parents.

About the Role:

As the Client Experience Coordinator, you will have a strong background in customer engagement, you will drive enrollment success, and have a direct impact on the experience of our families. Your dedication to providing exceptional service, fostering a welcoming environment, and ensuring smooth operations will contribute to our mission of creating a positive and enriching school experience for children and their families. This position works Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm and earns $23-$25/hr based on experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Champion Hospitality & Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain a welcoming front-desk environment that fosters a sense of belonging for all families and guests. Act as a passionate brand expert, educating prospective families on our programming and ensuring an exceptional experience from day 1.
  • Drive Enrollment & Growth: Collaborate with the Head of School to execute sales and marketing initiatives, including community outreach, networking, and lead follow-up. Guide families seamlessly through the enrollment journey by managing contracts, onboarding paperwork, and communication platform setup.
  • Optimize Center Operations: Support the Head of School in managing daily operations and maintaining operating systems. Oversee essential administrative tasks such as phone calls, emails, rosters, supply ordering, and ensuring all student and teacher documentation meets strict DOH compliance requirements.

Requirements

  •  Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, but an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of proven success in building enrollment (sales) and/or delivering outstanding customer service experiences in administrative-style roles.
  • Soft Skills- You possess strong communication skills, are a “people person”, and are passionate about providing our families and children with exceptional experiences..

What Success Looks Like

  • You’ve built genuine relationships where families feel known and valued from the moment they walk in. Your "moments of magic" and proactive communication result in high parent satisfaction and a warm, inclusive community atmosphere.
  • You are hitting enrollment targets through a mix of persuasive brand storytelling and meticulous follow-through. Prospective parents feel confident choosing our programs because you’ve made the transition from "interested lead" to "enrolled family" effortless and professional.
  • The center runs like a well-oiled machine. Compliance paperwork is always 100% accurate, inventory is consistently stocked before it’s needed, and you’ve become a reliable partner to the Head of School, anticipating needs and solving logistical hurdles before they escalate.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • The Time Off: PTO and sick/safe leave available.
  • Career Investment: Tuition Reimbursement Program (for full-time team members) to help you reach your next educational goal.
  • Comprehensive Care: Medical (full-time only), Dental, and Vision coverage, plus a 401(k) Plan with Company Contribution.
  • The Extras: Commuter programs, discounted fitness memberships, and more!

Physical Demands:

The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.

Inclusivity and Diversity:

NY Kids Club & NY Preschool is committed to an inclusive and diverse community. We celebrate differences, leading with kindness and respect. We are an equal opportunity employer, prohibiting discrimination based on various factors.

Accommodations:
