About the role and team

Working at Uber means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. As a Account Executive for Uber Advertising, you will be joining a newly formed division tasked with building mutually beneficial partnerships within Telco, Tech, B2B and Auto. This role is about navigating the messy reality of a fast-changing environment and earning trust quickly to solve problems that don’t come with a script.

The pace here is invigorating but can be challenging to keep up with, requiring you to be adaptable and thrive through constant change. You’ll need a "go-get-it" attitude and a team-player mindset to succeed while managing complex brand partnerships at a global and local scale. We are looking for resilient sellers who are energized by challenge and motivated by the tangible impact our platform has on millions of users every day.

What you’ll do

  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our customers—not just selling a product.
  • Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and internal complexity to unlock value for clients and for Uber.
  • Manage pipelines with urgency and discipline, knowing some deals will close fast and others will take months of persistence and trust-building.
  • Adapt your approach based on market dynamics, client needs, and imperfect information—there’s no one-size-fits-all playbook here.
  • Collaborate across operations, marketing, product, and legal to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and deliver solutions that scale.
  • Track the details, follow through on promises, and keep moving even when things get messy because the work is real and so is the impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6 + years of full-time experience in end-to-end Enterprise or Large Customer Digital Advertising Sales.
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding a commercial sales quota.
  • Experience selling advertising solutions to large, complex enterprise brands and agencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled storyteller who combines creativity and data to influence stakeholders and encourage product adoption.
  • Strong collaborator able to lead cross-functional projects and build trusted internal and external relationships.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel to drive data-informed sales planning and pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate pricing pushbacks and mediation tactics in tough negotiations.
  • Strategic mindset with experience anticipating market shifts and using industry trends to create value.
