ShopMy is transforming e-commerce by building the infrastructure for human-led curation at scale. We help brands run performance-driven creator programs while enabling top creators to monetize their influence and partner directly with the brands they love—driving discovery through trusted tastemakers and authentic recommendations.
ShopMy recently became a unicorn, raising at a $1.5B valuation with backing from Bessemer Venture Partners, Avenir Growth Capital, and Bain Capital Ventures.
At ShopMy, you're building the future of human-led commerce for the world's best brands, tastemakers, and shoppers. You move fast and see immediate impact in your work, alongside accomplished teammates who are driven by helping find the world's best things. If you’re excited to help shape the future of curated commerce at the intersection of technology, culture, and taste, we’d love to meet you.

About the role:

We're hiring a Client Strategy Manager to join our Enterprise pod and own the strategy behind a focused book of ShopMy's largest and most complex customers — major retailers, global parent and portfolio companies, and household-name brands with significant room to grow.

In this client-facing role, you'll design and execute the ShopMy strategy that delivers maximum ROI for each customer, including advising on creator engagement/gifting and scaling spend on our Opportunities and Spotlights products. You'll be paired with an Account Director who owns the commercial relationship, and together you'll navigate complex organizations, build relationships across brand, performance media and PR teams, and unlock the next level of investment.

Your Impact to The Role:
  • Own the ShopMy strategy for a focused book of enterprise accounts, including advising and executing on creator engagement, gifting, and performance marketing spend with our Opportunities & Spotlights products – and be accountable for the ROI that strategy delivers
  • Partner with an Account Director to maximize revenue from your shared book of business, with an emphasis on multi-quarter account planning and expansion. Together, you’ll find the opportunity in the program and build the evidence for increased investment, and the AD will deliver the commercial ask.
  • Navigate complex customer organizations and map stakeholders across multiple teams, including brand, performance and paid media, PR, etc.
  • Keep programs moving across many contacts, budgets and geographies at once
  • Bring creative ideas for where ShopMy can drive impact beyond the affiliate program — store openings, app downloads, product launches, in-house brands, category pushes, retail media, etc.
  • Co-lead proactive QBRs and executive business reviews, owning the performance and platform story in the room
  • Turn performance data into a clear point of view: what's working, what isn't, what to do next, and what the next dollar of investment should buy
  • Own program health, adoption, and renewal readiness across a book with high stakes and no room for surprises
  • Escalate meaningful product feedback — enterprise customers push the platform hardest, and this pod has a direct line into the product team
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and make ShopMy feel like one coordinated team to the client
  • Work closely with an Associate (more junior teammate) to manage tactical execution of the account. Provide guidance and coaching to support their development and contributions to the team.
You Are Energized By:
  • Large, complicated organizations — and the puzzle of figuring out who actually owns the budget and what they care about
  • Designing a strategy rather than running a playbook, and working with large amounts of ambiguity with brands whose ambitions don't fit a template
  • The future of creator marketing and the case that creators can be a core performance channel, not a line item
  • Being the most prepared person in the room, with a lot of moving pieces held in your head and nothing dropped
  • Building something new — the Enterprise operating model is still being written, and you'll help to shape it
  • Working shoulder to shoulder with an Account Director toward a shared account outcome
  • Traveling to visit clients for in-person presentations and relationship-building
What We Are Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in a highly client-facing, strategic role within an agency, marketing organization, media company, SaaS company, or similar environment
  • Experience owning large, complex accounts — enterprise retailers, multi-brand parent companies, or organizations with multiple stakeholders across departments, business units, or geographies
  • A track record of multi-threading: building durable relationships beyond a single point of contact, and keeping a program alive through contact turnover and reorgs
  • Performance fluency — you can read the data, diagnose what's driving results, and recommend clear next steps
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail; you can hold many workstreams at once without losing the thread on any of them
  • Creativity and initiative — you've brought a client an idea no one asked for, and made the case for it
  • Commercial awareness: you understand what an account is worth, what it could be worth, and what's standing in the way — even though you won't own the close
  • Strong communicator who can make complex performance insights land with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with major retailers, marketplaces, or portfolio/parent companies where the relationship spans multiple internal teams
  • Exposure to retail media, performance marketing, or paid social budgets
  • Experience supporting high-profile or luxury brands
  • SaaS Customer Success experience
  • Experience at a remote startup
  • NYC-based is a plus given the in-person cadence with enterprise customers, but not required
  • Deep understanding of affiliate marketing and the creator economy
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
