TheGuarantors is a fintech company helping multifamily owners and operators mitigate leasing risk while expanding access for renters. With a deep understanding of owner, operator, and renter needs, we believe renters deserve better access to the home of their choice and operators deserve greater protection and growth opportunities. That’s why we’re leveraging our real estate expertise and using AI-driven renter underwriting to help operators qualify renters faster while mitigating the financial risk of renter default. With $7B+ in lease value protected, we work with 9 of the country’s top 10 operators, are the #1 lease guarantee provider nationwide, and have consistently been named one of Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing companies, one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers, and one of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500.

The Team

The Commercial Strategy & Revenue Operations team exists to solve some of TheGuarantors' highest-priority commercial challenges. We identify opportunities to grow the business, develop strategies to capture them, and work across the organization to turn those strategies into measurable results.

Our work spans every part of the commercial organization. We partner closely with Sales, Product, Risk, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to improve how we serve customers, launch new initiatives, strengthen our go-to-market strategy, and build the capabilities that enable the business to scale. Because our work cuts across functions, success depends on building trusted partnerships, influencing without formal authority, and aligning teams around a common goal.

We aren't an internal consulting team. We own initiatives from strategy through execution and are accountable for the impact they create. The people who thrive here are comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by ownership, and excited to solve difficult business problems.

The Opportunity

As a Commercial Strategy Associate focused on AE (Account Executives) Strategy, you'll help shape how TheGuarantors grows by improving the effectiveness of our commercial organization. Our ability to win new business depends on more than great salespeople. It requires thoughtful strategy, disciplined execution, and a deep understanding of what drives commercial performance.

You'll identify opportunities to improve how we sell, develop strategies to capture them, and work across the organization to turn those ideas into measurable results.

This role is designed for someone who wants to move beyond analysis and become an operator. You'll own high-impact initiatives from strategy through execution, partnering with leaders across the company to improve how our commercial teams operate and perform.

You'll work closely with senior leadership—including the CEO, COO, and CSO—but your success will ultimately be measured by the commercial outcomes you help create.

This is a hybrid role based in NYC.

What You'll Do
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate revenue growth and improve the effectiveness of our commercial organization
  • Develop strategies that strengthen how we sell, engage customers, and execute across the commercial organization
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Sales leadership to identify challenges, evaluate opportunities, and implement high-impact improvements
  • Collaborate across Product, Risk, Pricing, Data, Marketing, and Operations to remove barriers to growth and improve commercial execution
  • Analyze activity and commercial performance to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making
  • Develop business cases, executive presentations, and strategic communications that support commercial initiatives and organizational priorities
  • Measure the impact of new initiatives and refine our commercial strategy based on results
What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, business operations, or another role requiring strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and a track record of execution
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and translate insights into commercial action
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and creating structure where none exists
  • An ownership mindset and a track record of driving work from idea through execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders across the commercial organization
  • An interest in how high-performing sales organizations operate and a desire to improve commercial effectiveness through thoughtful strategy and execution
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Benefits

  • Opportunities to make an impact within a fast growing company
  • Medical, dental, & vision insurance, beginning day one
  • Health savings account with employer contribution
  • Flexible spending accounts (healthcare, dependent care, commuter)
  • 401(k)
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • In-office lunch Perk
  • Flexible working hours
  • Paid parental leave
  • Company sponsored short and long term disability

Base Salary

The base salary range is between $130,000 - $150,000 annually.

Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
