Your Future Team
The Atlassian Community Management team oversees the forums at community.atlassian.com , and serves as a center of excellence for all things online community and gamification. We use a creative, innovative and data-driven approach to nurture the online community engagement funnel, and are always seeking to create delightful, addictive experiences that deliver a best-in-class user journey and help convert our members into champions.
What You'll Do

  • Learn the skills to become an online Community Manager
  • Help enforce community guidelines in keeping with our community values
  • Develop an understanding of the online community's engagement funnel
  • With support and ideas from the team, design and run your own experiment to improve one aspect of our user funnel
  • Identify and source key metrics and use your storytelling skills to help you demonstrate the impact of your work both quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Engage with our members and Leaders in an inclusive, welcoming, and user-centric way


Your Background

  • Currently enrolled in a 4 year degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by June 2026
  • Pursuing a degree in English, Communication, or similar
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to stay organized while juggling numerous priorities
  • Must be flexible and able to learn new software quickly - experience with Lithium/Khoros or other community software, Trello, Confluence, Bunchball/Nitro, and Excel are a plus but not a requirement.
  • Able to commit to a 12 week full-time (40hrs/week) internship during Summer 2025


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $35/hr - $40/hr
Zone B: $32/hr - $36/hr
Zone C: $29/hr - $33/hr
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
