As an Operational Risk Management Lead within Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk Management (CCOR), you will join a global team of risk professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience ensuring the Firm’s Operational Risk Management Framework is implemented effectively within the North America Currencies and Commodities Markets and Commodities Markets businesses of the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB). Your role will help effective management of operational risks associated with trading, sales, and other market-related activities.

 

 Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage the Firmwide Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Management Framework to Identify, Measure, Monitor, Manage, Report and Govern Operational Risk for the Global Markets Businesses. 
  • Oversee operational risk events, root cause analysis, and remediation plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Bring a focus upon internal process re-engineering, with a view to making recommendations and enhancements to existing Risk processes where opportunities arise.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven tools to enhance risk management capabilities.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders across Markets including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines of defence.
  • Experience with risk management, controls management, markets products, Front Office and Operations trade flow processes and lifecycles, regulatory reporting, for at least one FICC Line of businesses required.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of Markets and/or Operations related experience.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to lead change and deliver results; Ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment. 
  • Strong team player and ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a fast-paced environment.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with risk management, controls management, markets products, Front Office and Operations trade flow processes and lifecycles, regulatory reporting, for at least one FICC Line of businesses required.
