We’re hiring a Corporate Development Manager to drive the top of our M&A and investment funnel. This role is about proactive opportunity generation—you’ll be on the front lines identifying, cultivating, and qualifying acquisition and strategic investment targets that align with our long-term vision.

You will report to Riskified’s CFO and work closely with senior executives across Product, Finance, Legal, and GTM.

• Own and manage our deal sourcing engine: build and maintain a robust pipeline of M&A and strategic partnership opportunities
• Identify high-potential targets through market research, outbound outreach, industry events, banker relationships, and founder networks
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, VCs, bankers, and advisors to stay ahead of market activity
• Evaluate companies’ fit against our strategy using high-level diligence, financial analysis, and qualitative assessment
• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate product and business strategy into sourcing priorities
• Collaborates with the Finance and Legal team on deal evaluation, diligence, and execution.
• Prepares accurate, thoughtful, and concise presentations for senior leadership and Board of Directors

• 3+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or in-house corporate development, with a strong sourcing or relationship-building track record
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required)
• MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
• Fin-Tech, Payments, or E-Commerce experience
• Strong M&A deal experience required
• Demonstrated ability to identify and originate deals proactively. 
• A strong network in the startup/tech/sector-specific ecosystem and a passion for discovering emerging talent and ideas
• Experience in financial modeling and strategic analysis
• Excellent communication skills—you can build rapport with founders and C-levels, and pitch our vision credibly

The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - 200,000 . This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City.
