Who we are About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Stripe's Corporate Development M&A Integration team manages the lifecycle of acquisitions from close through steady state. We are a small but mighty team that operates as the hub connecting Stripe's functional groups (People, Finance, Legal, CorpTech, Sales, Marketing, GTM ops, and Product) with each acquired company. Our work is directly tied to some of Stripe's most strategically important bets, and we're actively managing a portfolio of acquisitions at different stages and integration models.

What you’ll do

We're hiring an Integration team member to own program management of a major integration track (either an end-to-end integration, the core operational workstream, or the GTM workstream) depending on portfolio shape and deal stage. You'll be coached by the team lead, but the expectation is that you will take direction once, ramp fast and effectively collaborate across our dynamic cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Own program management of a major integration workstream end-to-end. Build the plan, sequence dependencies, track functional commitments, surface risks early, and drive decisions to closure.
  • Develop the strategic judgment to articulate why a workstream should be integrated and why now, including how to pace and sequence integration planning across the deal's lifecycle.
  • Manage peer-level relationships with functional DRIs across People, Finance, Legal, CorpTech, GTM, and Product independently. You are Stripe's point of contact for your workstream. Your manager is not in those conversations with you.
  • Contribute to acquisition accountability metric reporting. Know what the numbers say, recognize what's missing or off, and know when something needs to escalate.
  • Represent the integration team in cross-functional forums with a clear point of view. Know when to push, when to hold, and when and how to escalate.
  • Ramp into new domains quickly. Each acquisition is different. Absorb context, structure ambiguous situations into actionable plans, and identify gaps before anyone asks.
  • Use Stripe-approved AI tools (and create your own) to accelerate and improve your work. This is an immediate expectation, not an aspiration.
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in finance, operations, sales ops, marketing ops, or strategy, with a track record of owning complex cross-functional work in high-stakes environments
  • Track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end, navigating ambiguity without a playbook, and delivering on timelines that weren't fully in your control
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience managing peer-level relationships across multiple functions to drive outcomes without formal authority
  • Ability to ramp quickly into new domains and structure ambiguous situations into actionable plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write and speak decision-first to any audience
  • Active, demonstrated use of AI tools to improve the quality and pace of work
  • M&A or integration experience
