Join our Corporate & Emerging Markets (CEM) Trading team, focused on market making and institutional client coverage across Emerging Markets Asia FX products. This front-office role combines risk-taking, liquidity provision, client engagement, and market expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. 

As a Vice President or Associate on the Asia Global FX Trading team, you will play an active role in managing trading risk, pricing and executing client transactions, providing liquidity across EM Asia currencies, and driving franchise growth. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Trading, and institutional clients to deliver market insights, execution solutions, and risk management strategies while contributing to the overall performance of the business. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Make markets and provide liquidity in EM Asia FX products to institutional clients. 
  • Manage trading risk and positions within established risk limits and controls. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, becoming a trusted partner for execution and market insights. 
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Trading colleagues to grow client activity and franchise revenues. 
  • Monitor global macroeconomic developments, market events, and cross-asset dynamics to identify trading opportunities and risk factors. 
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards. 
  • Contribute to the development of the trading franchise through proactive idea generation, market intelligence, and knowledge sharing. 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • 5+ years of sell-side experience market making Emerging Markets Asia FX products. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing risk and providing liquidity in EM Asia currency markets. 
  • Deep knowledge of macroeconomic drivers, market structure, and cross-asset relationships affecting FX markets. 
  • Solid understanding of pricing, hedging, and risk management frameworks. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with an appreciation for balancing prudent risk-taking, revenue generation, and long-term client franchise growth. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to articulate market views and defend investment or trading ideas. 
  • Self-motivated team player with a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail.
