Job Description

  • Harness your expertise in shaping robust cybersecurity strategies and safeguarding critical assets. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing our resilience against evolving global cyber threats.

  • As a Cybersecurity Intelligence Vice President at JPMorganChase within the Cybersecurity Operations group, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the firm's digital assets and infrastructure from cyber threats. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while informing and influencing control measures across the organization. Your expertise in analyzing intelligence and developing innovative ways to track threat actors — combined with your ability to collaborate across diverse teams — will be essential in strengthening the firm's security posture. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to strategic cybersecurity initiatives and continuously improve our threat detection and response capabilities, with direct impact on the firm's operations, fiscal management, public image, employee morale, and client relationships.

  • Implement proactive threat intelligence strategies using advanced analytics and emerging technologies to identify and mitigate risks, staying current with cybersecurity trends and sharing insights to implement best practices across the organization

  • Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate threat intelligence synthesis and prioritization, validating outputs and handling data in accordance with sensitivity and security requirements

  • Develop methods for detecting threat indicators within large data sets using data analysis tools and specialized query languages

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sharing threat intelligence and best practices to achieve operational goals and improve cybersecurity operations

  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted workflows to improve team productivity, ensuring all outputs are validated and aligned to security expectations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess emerging threats and translate intelligence findings into actionable recommendations for leadership and technical teams

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of threat detection frameworks, playbooks, and response capabilities to address an evolving global threat landscape

  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on cybersecurity intelligence concepts and 5+ years applied experience

  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity with a focus on threat intelligence, analysis, and risk mitigation

  • Experience leveraging enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support threat intelligence, tradecraft, and security research workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity

  • Ability to review and validate intelligence findings and detection recommendations prior to implementation, escalating appropriately and adhering to security and data handling requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience preparing materials for senior executive audiences

  • Proficiency with data analysis tools or specialized query languages used to identify threat indicators within large-scale data environments

  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Specific regional cybersecurity expertise and relevant language skills

  • Experience working within or alongside a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Cyber Fusion Center environment

  • Familiarity with industry-standard threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or the Diamond Model

  • Prior experience collaborating with government, law enforcement, or industry threat-sharing communities (e.g., ISACs)

  • Advanced certifications in cybersecurity or threat intelligence (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCTI)

  • Specific regional expertise and language skills preferred
