We’re looking for a Director of Business Development to join our team as the first commercialization hire, partnering closely with the CEO to drive growth across the healthcare ecosystem and leading healthcare provider organizations. In this role, you will define and execute business development strategy, collaborate closely with product and engineering to shape impactful solutions, and steward commercial growth and customer success with new and existing customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about transforming healthcare through data and AI, who thrives in a high-growth, cross-functional environment.
As Director of Business Development, you will:
- Partner with the CEO to shape commercial strategy within the healthcare ecosystem
- Drive customer and market segmentation and identify and secure key enterprise customers with a focus on large healthcare provider systems and academic medical centers
- Guide new enterprise customers from consideration to successful deployment through complex evaluation, decision-making, and adoption processes
- Serve as a strategic bridge between customers and internal teams, shaping pilots, implementations, and feedback loops that inform product roadmap and platform evolution
- Own and achieve a revenue target, managing revenue forecasts and driving significant commercial growth
- Synthesize account performance, partner feedback, and market learnings into insights that inform company strategy and leadership decision-making.
- Continuously assess the healthcare and AI landscape—including competitors, partners, and policy trends—to inform commercial strategy, partnerships, and product direction.
The ideal candidate has:
- Significant experience driving growth and strategic partnerships with healthcare provider organizations, ideally within clinical decision support and related healthcare technology space
- A proven track record of designing and executing high-complexity, consultative sales processes with experience managing multi-million-dollar engagements
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders, ideally around data and AI
- Passion for the ways in which increases in systems can advance healthcare nationally
The OTE range for this role is $200,000 to $320,000.
