We are looking for a Director of Sales to join our world-class sales organization to lead our growing Enterprise Hunting segment. You will lead an existing team of Enterprise Account Executives and you will be measured by achieving your team’s overall quota, new logo acquisition, and growing Databricks usage. This is a team of account executives who are passionate about building a data ecosystem in the enterprise space, technically knowledgeable, and have a desire to help customers and partners succeed. You will report to the Regional Vice President

  • Lead, grow, and inspire the Enterprise Account Executives to help them overachieve on their goals and objectives.
  • Instill a culture of teamwork focused on leading with measurable business value and achieving desired customer outcomes.
  • Develop trust-based relationships with customers and partners to ensure long-term market success.
  • Drive ongoing learning of the continuous innovation being delivered to our customers via our data intelligence and GenAI solutions.
  • Actively participate in the region’s growth plans, ensure forecast accuracy, and build a customer-focused, durable, high-growth business.

What we look for:

  • You live Databricks’ core values and instill them in the team you lead.
  • You will have 3+ years of successfully building and leading high-growth sales teams serving enterprise customers within the Big Data, Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), Analytics, AI spaces.
  • History of exceeding quota and thriving in hyper-growth Enterprise technology companies.
  • Understanding of value selling and sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, and Command of Message.
  • Knowledge of developing partner ecosystems to help grow strategic enterprise territories and ensure customer success.
  • In this role, a proven track record of leading teams to success in enterprise territories, landing new logos, and driving consumption is critical. 

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
