About the Role

We are seeking a high-impact commercial strategist for our Director, Global Agency Partnerships role. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Strategy and partnering closely with our regional commercial leaders in the US & UK, you will own the overarching account strategy for CHG's most critical third-party agency relationships worldwide. In this role, you will bridge global enterprise strategy with regional execution to expand agency portfolios, drive revenue yield, and position CHG as the preferred partner of choice across all our brands and product offerings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Cultivate, manage, and scale lasting, senior-level relationships with global and national Third-Party Agency accounts, targeting both high-tier global agencies and key smaller partners while collaborating with US and UK teams to extend relationships across all brands.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of complex preferred agency partnership agreements and Master Services Agreements (MSAs) that align with company goals and strengthen agency ties to key global accounts
  • Drive net-incremental revenue by developing comprehensive partnership agreements, account plans, mapping agency team structures, and executing strategic initiatives to increase agency spend across CHG’s Meetings portfolio.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations leadership globally to implement strategies that boost agency engagement, increase demand and maximize revenue potential.
  • Attend key industry trade shows and events to network with agency decision-makers, and organize agency familiarization (FAM) trips and site tours to showcase offerings and influence purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on top agency performance, delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports to commercial leadership.
  • Stay informed on evolving agency buying patterns and industry trends to offer innovative solutions, while participating in agency association discussions to represent CHG as a thought leader.
  • Work alongside CHG Real Estate teams to identify new target market opportunities using global agency account data and client growth strategies.

What We Look For:

  • Commercial Sales Expertise: 10+ years in commercial sales with 5+ years managing complex multi-unit strategic accounts in hospitality, meetings, or corporate events.
  • Industry Network: Deep existing relationships with key third-party agencies, channel partners, and senior decision-makers.
  • Strategic Deal Execution: Proven track record negotiating complex MSAs and preferred partnership agreements that drive mutual accountability and long-term value.
  • Tactical Execution: Ability to turn high-level agency strategy into actionable plans with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build trust and influence senior client buyers.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Skilled at inspiring cross-functional colleagues and aligning competing priorities across Legal, Operations, and Revenue Management teams.
  • Hands-On Agility: High personal drive and growth mindset with a willingness to execute directly alongside team members in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
  • Mobility & Engagement: Passion for face-to-face client engagement with willingness to travel up to 15 days per month globally.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Base Salary: Salary Min: $150,000 Salary Max: $165,000

This role is also eligible for Convene's sales commission program. OTE, commensurate with background and performance, may meet or exceed $200K/annually. 

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
