Job Description

The Role

Lead performance intelligence across Spectrum's paid, owned, earned, influencer, creator, and social listening ecosystem. This role synthesizes data from multiple agencies and channels into strategic recommendations that improve business performance - not just reporting. Working cross-functionally with Paid Media, Organic, Influencer, Community Management, Creative, Analytics, and Client Leadership, this role identifies optimization opportunities, develops actionable recommendations, and ensures insights translate into measurable business outcomes across the social ecosystem. The Director serves as the connective tissue between measurement and activation, helping Spectrum make smarter investment, creative, audience, and content decisions.

Time Allocation35% - Performance Intelligence & Strategic Insights
  • Develop and maintain an integrated view of performance across paid, owned, earned, influencer, creator, community management, and social listening.
  • Synthesize measurement workstreams such as Adobe, MMM, Lift Studies, CAPI diagnostics, platform reporting, and social listening into executive-ready business narratives.
  • Translate performance data into prioritized recommendations instead of descriptive reporting.
  • Identify emerging trends in audience behavior, creative effectiveness, platform performance, AI adoption, and consumer sentiment.
  • Deliver executive-ready narratives that connect performance outcomes to business objectives and future investment decisions.
30% - Cross-Channel Optimization & Activation
  • Partner with Paid Media, Organic, Influencer, Community, Creative, and Analytics teams to convert insights into coordinated optimization plans.
  • Develop decision frameworks for media investment, creative iteration, audience strategy, influencer selection, and content distribution.
  • Track recommendations through execution and measure business impact and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to scale high-performing content, creators, and audiences while refining underperforming tactics.
20% - Measurement, Testing & Performance Frameworks
  • Own integrated measurement frameworks, scorecards, and reporting standards across paid, owned, earned, influencer, creator, and community activity.
  • Design and evaluate cross-channel testing programs to improve media, creative, and content effectiveness.
  • Standardize taxonomy, governance, and KPI frameworks across agency partners.
  • Partner with Analytics, Technology, and Automation teams to improve dashboarding, data quality, and actionable intelligence.
15% - Cross-Functional Leadership & Knowledge Management
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Media, Creative, Strategy, Analytics, Influencer, Community, and client stakeholders.
  • Lead recurring optimization reviews, post-campaign debriefs, and executive business reviews focused on actions and accountability.
  • Build reusable playbooks and best practices from testing and performance learnings.
  • Champion continuous improvement by scaling successful approaches across the paid, owned, and earned ecosystem.
What You'll Do
  • Own Spectrum's Performance Intelligence function, ensuring every deliverable includes insights, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Synthesize performance across paid, owned, earned, influencer, creator, 3rd party measurement, and social listening into a unified executive view.
  • Lead optimization reviews that align Paid Media, Organic, Influencer, Community, Creative, and Analytics teams around measurable actions.
  • Develop executive narratives connecting social performance to Spectrum business objectives and future investment decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to scale winning creative, creators, audiences, and platform strategies across the ecosystem.
  • Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to improve dashboards, automation, governance, and reporting standards.
What You BringExperience
  • 10+ years leading social performance strategy, intelligence, measurement, and optimization across paid, owned, earned, influencer, and creator ecosystems.
  • Experience synthesizing cross-channel data into strategic business recommendations.
  • Background partnering across social paid, owned, earned, influencer, creative, and analytics teams.
  • Executive-level storytelling and client leadership experience.
Technical
  • Deep expertise across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Nextdoor.
  • Strong understanding of MMM, Lift Studies, attribution, Adobe, first-party measurement, and social listening tools (i.e., Hootsuite/Sprout)
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Excel, and automation tools.

Salary Range

$150,000.00 - $170,000.00
