The Consumer Acquisition & Engagement (CA&E) team provides a broad portfolio of marketing, personalization, loyalty, commerce media, and customer engagement solutions that help issuers and merchants acquire, activate, engage, and retain consumers while driving measurable business outcomes.
We are seeking a Director, Marketing Solutions Commercialization to lead the commercialization and market activation of key CA&E solutions across North America, including Marketing and Personalization Services, Loyalty, and Mastercard Commerce Media.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded marketing professional with experience in a marketing agency, media agency, marketing services organization, and product marketing environment. The successful candidate will bridge product, sales, and client teams to create compelling market propositions, develop customer-centric narratives, and accelerate revenue growth through strategic go-to-market execution.
The role serves as a strategic partner to Sales Segment Leads, Account Management, and Product, translating product capabilities into differentiated client solutions, value propositions, and sales enablement programs that support pipeline expansion and conversion. The individual will play a leading role in client engagements, executive presentations, strategic workshops, enterprise Request for Proposals (RFPs), and large-scale commercial opportunities.
Success in this role requires a blend of commercial strategy, client-facing consulting, storytelling, solution positioning, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, thrives in fast-paced environments, and brings deep expertise in creating compelling customer narratives that drive engagement, adoption, and growth.
Role
Drive Go-to-Market Strategy & Revenue Growth • Lead commercialization and go-to-market strategies for CA&E solutions across assigned client segments, partnering closely with segment leaders and sales teams to drive awareness, adoption, pipeline growth, and revenue acceleration. • Support product launches by identifying priority client targets, market opportunities, and adoption strategies within assigned segments to accelerate scale and revenue impact. • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive insights within assigned segments to inform commercialization strategies, sales priorities, and growth plans.
Develop Client-Centric Proposals • Develop tailored value propositions and solution packages that address specific client priorities, challenges, and growth opportunities within assigned segments. • Translate complex products and capabilities into clear business value, equipping sales teams with the content, tools, and expertise needed to confidently position solutions and advance opportunities.
Partner with Sales to Win Business • Collaborate closely with Sales Segment Leads, Account Management, and Product to support high-value client opportunities and strategic pursuits. • Lead strategic proposal development, executive presentations, client workshops, and enterprise RFP responses. • Mobilize and coordinate the appropriate stakeholders to support strategic client engagement scoping, ensuring the right expertise is brought forward to advance opportunities. • Proactively identify and track opportunities tied to various funding sources, and develop timely, actionable go-to-market plans to accelerate revenue generation across assigned client segments.
Create Sales & Marketing Enablement • Develop scalable training materials and commercialization content. • Equip client-facing teams with the resources, training, messaging, and insights needed to effectively position CA&E solutions within assigned segments.
Package & Commercialize Solutions • Develop bundled offerings, commercial frameworks, and integrated solutions that address customer challenges and support growth objectives. • Partner with Product and Sales to identify target clients and commercialization opportunities for new solutions and product launches. • Align global capabilities with regional market needs and the priorities of assigned client segments.
Build Strategic Partnerships • Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive commercialization initiatives and identify new growth opportunities. • Partner closely with Product and Sales to develop and scale channel partner models, new go-to-market approaches, and revenue channels, aligning solution strategy, market execution, and partner engagement to drive growth across assigned segments. • Act as a trusted advisor to segment leaders and cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and execution excellence.
All About You
• Significant experience in digital marketing agencies, media agencies, product marketing, marketing services, or commerce media businesses, with expertise spanning solution development, commercialization, and client engagement. • Proven success developing and executing go-to-market strategies, commercial propositions, and sales enablement programs.
Strong client-facing consulting skills with experience presenting to senior executives and influencing stakeholders. • Executive presence and credibility, with a proven ability to advise senior leaders and influence strategic decisions across Product, Sales, and Marketing organizations. • Track record of leading complex commercialization initiatives, aligning senior stakeholders, and driving business growth across matrixed organizations. • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that connect customer needs to business outcomes. • Experience developing proposals, RFP responses, pitch materials, and executive-level presentations. • Deep understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, loyalty, personalization, media, CRM, or customer engagement solutions. • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to drive pipeline growth, revenue opportunities, and customer adoption. • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and build alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams. • Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, setting direction, prioritizing opportunities, and driving measurable business outcomes.
Strategic thinker with a bias for action, strong ownership, and a results-oriented mindset. • Creative problem solver who excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments. • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
