Overall Purpose

The Director, Sales Enablement has an exciting opportunity to build a world-class Sales Enablement team and practice for the Partnerships (Sales) organization at a pivotal stage of growth. As Paze gains momentum as an emerging payments brand and our Sales team expands, this leader will build the team and establish the strategy, operating model, best-practice disciplines, capabilities, tools, governance, and measurement needed to scale—strengthening seller readiness, elevating field execution, and driving business performance.

This leader will turn go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and business priorities into engaging seller experiences, high-impact programs, practical content and tools, and role-based learning that helps our teams sell with confidence and deliver against business objectives. Initially focused on establishing and refining the enablement model for Paze, the Director will create a strong foundation that can scale across additional businesses and Sales teams. Equal parts strategic leader and hands-on builder, this person will drive momentum, bring disciplined prioritization and cross-functional influence, and instill a continuous-improvement mindset into the team.


Essential Functions

  • Build and scale the function, including its team structure, capabilities, resource model, budget, operating practices, and agency and vendor partnerships.
  • Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team; establish clear expectations, differentiate performance, and build capabilities that evolve with business needs.
  • Establish clear roles, decision rights, governance, and engagement models across Sales Enablement, Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Partnerships Operations, and external partners.
  • Develop disciplined intake, prioritization, project management, launch-readiness, service-level, and content-lifecycle processes that balance strategic programs with priority field and business needs.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning, value propositions, competitive insights, proof points, and go-to-market strategies into sales-ready programs, playbooks, pitch materials, discovery guides, talk tracks, and other role-specific resources.
  • Design and deliver scalable, role-based onboarding, continuing education, certification, reinforcement, manager coaching, and launch-readiness programs tailored to partner types, segments, channels, products, seller roles, and stages of the sales cycle.
  • Define and optimize the Sales Enablement technology ecosystem—including CRM, content management, learning, analytics, collaboration, and AI-enabled capabilities—to improve seller preparation, personalization, coaching, content discovery, workflow efficiency, and insight generation.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Partnerships Operations to embed enablement into seller workflows, reduce process friction, and support priority business initiatives, product launches, and strategic sales opportunities.
  • Establish dashboards, feedback mechanisms, and continuous-improvement practices that measure seller readiness, adoption, content usage, training effectiveness, seller confidence, targeted behaviors, and business impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, translating seller and partner insights into actionable recommendations and driving alignment on priorities, ownership, sequencing, risks, and outcomes.
  • Support the company’s commitment to risk management and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically has 12 years of experience or demonstrated portfolio consistent with experience required of the role.
  • 5 or more years of people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, organizational design, and team development.
  • Demonstrated experience building or materially scaling a Sales Enablement, Revenue Enablement, field-readiness, or comparable function or operating model within a complex B2B organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise across seller onboarding and learning, sales content, sales methodology, manager enablement, launch readiness, adoption, and performance measurement.
  • Strong understanding of complex B2B sales motions, enterprise buying processes, strategic partnerships, channel models, and solution-based selling.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate go-to-market strategy, product positioning, messaging, and business priorities into practical seller tools, programs, capabilities, and behaviors.
  • Demonstrated systems thinking and ability to integrate people, process, technology, content, data, and governance into a scalable operating model.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategically while remaining hands-on in program development, content creation, facilitation, and execution when required.
  • Strong program management, prioritization, change leadership, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data, business impact, and risk to prioritize competing functional needs and measure program effectiveness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
  • Experience using Salesforce or comparable customer relationship management technology and modern enablement, content management, learning, analytics, or collaboration platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to define meaningful enablement metrics and use quantitative and qualitative insights to guide decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, enterprise technology, SaaS, or another regulated or highly matrixed B2B environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple products, business units, partner types, channels, or routes to market.
  • Experience in Product Marketing or broader B2B Marketing in addition to Sales Enablement.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled sales, content, learning, coaching, or productivity capabilities.
  • Experience managing creative, production, training, enablement, or other external agencies and vendors.
  • Experience supporting significant strategic deals, product launches, or executive-level selling motions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers. Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL / Washington, DC in USD per year is: $154,000 - $193,000.
New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $186,000 - $232,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.This pay scale is subject to change and is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific candidate, which is always dependent on legitimate factors considered at the time of job offer.
