Job Summary:

PTZ Insurance is a subsidiary of Doubtless and is seeking an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and evolve our email and SMS marketing strategy across Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), HubSpot, and SendGrid. This leader will drive acquisition + lifecycle marketing performance by auditing existing customer journeys, optimizing platforms and automation, and building high-performing engagement programs that increase conversion, retention, and customer value.

Job Location: Hybrid – New York City, NY

Main Responsibilities:     

  • Lead the strategic roadmap for email and SMS across acquisition, onboarding, retention, cross-sell, and win-back journeys.
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of all existing journeys, automations, templates, segments, and triggers across SFMC, HubSpot, and SendGrid.
  • Identify and implement best practices to create thoughtful, intentional, and highly personalized customer experiences.
  • Develop and execute a robust test-and-learn agenda, including subject lines, content, offers, cadence, segmentation, personalization, and customer journeys.
  • Partner with Brand, Creative, Analytics, Product, and CRM teams to improve engagement, conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Create compelling content and messaging that drives opens, clicks, engagement, and policy conversions.
  • Establish lifecycle marketing standards, governance, reporting, and performance benchmarks across brands.
  • Leverage customer, behavioral, and transactional data to improve targeting and personalization.
  • Monitor performance and deliver actionable insights that continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead email marketing specialists + dev team.
  • Provides coaching and mentorship to team members, giving regular feedback to help shape and define team and individual goals.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Thoughtful, strategic, methodical marketer passionate about driving business outcomes through optimized customer journeys. Disciplined, passionate about marketing, innovative and keen to test and learn.
  • Experience in Email, CRM, or Lifecycle Marketing, preferably within insurance, financial services, fintech, subscription, or other regulated consumer businesses.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, and/or SendGrid.
  • Proven track record improving customer journeys through segmentation, automation, testing, and personalization.
  • Strong mix of strategy, analytics, copywriting, and execution.
  • Customer-focused, data-driven, and equally comfortable setting the vision and rolling up sleeves to make it happen.
