The Opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Security Engineering Manager who is passionate about securing software, implementing controls, managing security risks, leading initiatives, and training co-workers. You will be a leader in engineering as we continue to scale our sophisticated solutions for private capital markets.

Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys driving projects from inception to planning to execution in production. You'll be working with a nimble team of committed and talented engineers with an engineering culture centered on continuous learning, collaborative knowledge sharing, and both personal and team development.

As a Senior Security Engineering Manager at Chronograph, you will:

  • Analyze our systems to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations
  • Provide expertise prioritizing, evaluating, and managing our internal and external security solutions
  • Identify opportunities for adopting new security techniques, technologies, and patterns
  • Oversee SOC 2 & ISO 27001 compliance programs
  • Collaborate with compliance, sales, and customer service teammates to convey security posture and respond to client diligence requests
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business to deliver creative and thoughtful solutions
  • Collaborate closely across the organization to build and refine processes to ensure efficient growth into the future
  • Help continue to build a world-class Engineering team by training the team on the latest practices as well as shaping both technical direction and team composition as we scale
  • Help attract, interview, and onboard your future team members during this exciting time of growth

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • (Minimum) Five (5) years of professional development experience and three (3) years of application, cloud, and software vulnerability experience
  • Have an understanding of security standards and best practices such as CIS, OWASP, CSA, NIST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 in order to ensure compliance
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor and creativity
  • Strong analytical, project leadership and communication skills
  • Nice to have: AWS security certifications, experience with SOC 2 certification
