About the company

Our client is a rapidly scaling AI company backed by leading venture investors and transforming how enterprise insurance teams handle complex operational workflows. Its platform automates work such as submission intake, policy comparisons, and underwriting audits for insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and managing general agents whose businesses represent more than $15B in premiums. After growing annual recurring revenue from roughly $100K to $2M in 2025, the company is investing aggressively in its next stage of growth.

The role and why it matters

This Enterprise Account Executive will own complex, high value sales from qualified opportunity through close and help shape a repeatable commercial motion. The role is central to landing flagship customers, expanding major accounts, and turning fast moving market feedback into stronger positioning, pricing, and product decisions.

What you'll do

• Own the full enterprise sales cycle, including discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, procurement, and close.

• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with a mix of personally sourced and partner generated opportunities.

• Develop deep relationships with executive and operational buyers across complex, regulated organizations.

• Translate customer workflows and pain points into clear, credible business cases for AI automation.

• Maintain accurate pipeline data and deliver disciplined forecasts against a quota of more than $1M.

• Partner with sales development, marketing, customer success, and product teams to improve conversion and accelerate expansion.

• Bring structured customer insight into messaging, pricing, and roadmap discussions.

What we're looking for

• At least three years of experience owning the full closing cycle as an Enterprise Account Executive at a seed through Series C technology company.

• A consistent record of strong quota attainment, including experience with ACV above $100K and quotas above $1M.

• Experience selling vertical AI or complex enterprise software to regulated or operationally sophisticated buyers.

• Comfort building sales processes and operating with speed, ownership, and ambiguity.

• Strong executive communication, commercial judgment, and relationship building ability.

• An undergraduate degree and a track record of sustained progression rather than repeated short tenures.

Bonus points

• Direct experience selling into insurance carriers, brokers, managing general agents, or insurtech companies.

• Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, or comparable CRM and sales automation tools.

• Experience helping an early stage company build a land and expand enterprise motion.

Compensation and benefits

• $150K base salary.

• $300K-$400K target earnings, with exceptional performance potentially rewarded above the standard range.

• Competitive equity.

• Visa transfers may be considered individually.

Location and work model

This is a full time, five days per week onsite role in New York City. Candidates must be based in New York City or prepared to relocate, and the role includes periodic travel of up to three days twice per month.
