ABOUT CLAIMSORTED
At ClaimSorted, we're building a more resilient world - one where people and businesses have the confidence to pursue bigger opportunities. We're doing this by transforming how insurance delivers on its most important promise: helping people and businesses recover when things go wrong.
The world's largest insurers and Fortune 500 companies work with us to handle claims and manage risk more efficiently, so they - and the people they protect - can move forward with confidence.
Backed by Y Combinator, Atomico and Eurazeo, we grew 10x in the past year - and we're just getting started.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our founding GTM team and build the pipeline that fuels our next wave of growth. You'll be the first conversation most of our future customers have with ClaimSorted - finding the right people at the largest insurance and Fortune 500 companies in the world, and giving them a reason to listen.
Success in this role isn't measured by quota alone. You'll need to deeply understand each prospect's business to open a real conversation, not just book a meeting.
Build and run outbound campaigns targeting the largest insurance and Fortune 500 companies in the world - research accounts, identify the right stakeholders, and find your way in
Own top-of-funnel, end-to-end - from first outreach to a booked, qualified meeting handed to our Account Executives
Get creative across channels - email, phone, LinkedIn, whatever it takes to cut through and get a response from people who get pitched constantly
Qualify relentlessly - make sure every meeting you book is one worth having, so our AEs spend their time on real opportunities, not noise
Help shape our outbound playbook - feed what you learn from hundreds of conversations back into how we message and target, so the motion gets sharper as we scale
Get real product influence - work directly with Claims and Product; what you hear from prospects changes how we position what we build next
We love working together in the office, so this is a full-time, in-office role in our New York City office. We're a high-intensity team and often put in significant time and effort, with some people working on weekends, because we believe great outcomes come from doing the work well.
WHO YOU ARE
We care more about hunger and grit than years on a resume. You might be a recent grad with an unreasonable work ethic, or someone early in their sales career who's ready to prove they can go further, faster.
Strong written and verbal communicator - you can get a stranger to reply to a cold email or pick up the phone
Comfortable with high volume, high rejection - you stay sharp and motivated through a lot of "no" on the way to "yes"
Coachable and fast-learning - you take feedback on your outreach and get better week over week, not quarter over quarter
Organized and process-driven - you keep a high-volume pipeline clean and nothing falls through the cracks
Ambitious about where this leads - you want this to be the start of a sales career, not a one-year stop
OUR VALUES
