Job Description

Citi is looking for an Equity Research Product Manager at the AVP level to join the Americas Equity Research Management team, playing a central role in shaping how research is delivered, monitored, and continuously improved across the business. In this position, you will sit at the intersection of product management and business analytics, supporting the strategic priorities of one of the world's leading financial institutions. Your work will directly influence the quality of research output and the effectiveness of the teams producing it.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Americas Equity Research Product Manager with day-to-day product oversight, including monitoring research output quality, coordinating approvals, and planning the morning call across sectors and regions.

  • Coordinate the Equity Research Oversight Committee process, ensuring timely review of research initiations, ratings changes, and material research updates in collaboration with Supervisory Analysts, the Control Group, and the Production team.

  • Produce and analyze product metrics that enable the research management team to assess performance and identify opportunities across each research franchise.

  • Build and maintain business analytics dashboards that translate KPIs into clear, actionable insights for managers and research analysts.

  • Identify and implement AI-driven automation to streamline recurring management processes and reporting workflows and actively promote broader AI adoption within the department.

  • Establish and maintain project governance processes that surface dependencies, risks, and conflicts across programs, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed of status and escalations.

  • Manage program documentation, meeting records, and organizational knowledge to ensure the operations team has current and accessible information at all times.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-8 of experience

  • Background in financial services, research management, product management, or business analytics.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results within a large, matrixed organization.

  • Analytical capability to interpret performance data, develop dashboards, and produce metrics that support decision-making.

  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to documentation, reporting, and process management.

  • Clear and confident communicator, able to coordinate effectively across teams, functions, and seniority levels.

  • Self-directed and solutions-focused, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently without close supervision.

  • Ability and commitment to acquire and maintain FINRA licenses including the SIE, 63, 86, 87 & 24.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Exposure to working with oversight or governance committees in a regulated financial environment.
