Job Description:

Role Overview 

As EVP, Managing Director, you are the strategic architect behind iProspect’s largest client partnerships, delivering transformative media solutions and orchestrating sustained business growth. You serve as the lead developer of integrated strategies and high-performing teams while nurturing C-suite relationships and unlocking new market opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the ultimate client & strategic leader across global or regional accounts, acting as the primary liaison with senior-most client leadership. Relationships with clients should be such that there are no surprises and clients see you as a strategic advisor.  

  • Represent the agency internally and externally through industry events, panels, media etc. in turn elevating our profile and influence in the industry. 

  • Build and drive integrated solutions across dentsu capabilities to maximize client impact and value.  

  • Identify and capture new revenue streams through insight-driven growth plans – growth beyond current scopes.  

  • Actively participate in the growth vision for iProspect by leading workstreams outside of your portfolio on behalf of the agency at large.  

  • Drive growth through alternative revenue streams (amplifi) and lean into AI-driven technology solutions.  

  • Ensure you have a high functioning, high performing team that is delivering for and jiving with their clients.   

  • Maintain a strong pulse on external and internal dynamics, being able to identify risks and challenges early, in order to identify and initiate an action plan. 

Revenue & Business Growth 

  • Own the P&L, driving revenue and profit growth across service lines. 

  • Able to step in and independently lead a ~$250M full funnel pitch. 

  • Show success in expanding existing scopes of work. 

  • Actively lead annual business planning and performance reviews end to end. 

  • Expertly negotiate contracts both locally and globally.  

  • Develop long-term strategic roadmaps for clients, translating business goals into actionable media solutions.  

  • Lead operational excellence across all functions; able to make financial and commercial decisions without oversight. 

  • Maintain the appropriate balance between the needs of our clients and the needs of the business - expertly navigating the day to day/ongoing negotiations with clients, teams, and profitability metrics. 

Organizational Leadership 

  • Take on additional responsibilities outside of portfolio management in the spirit of driving growth and development for our people and our clients. 

  • Foster a connected culture across dentsu and disciplines, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.  

  • Construct and evolve account leadership structures to match client ambition and complexity. 

  • Attract, nurture, and retain top talent by embedding a culture of creativity, ownership, and excellence.  

  • Champion change initiatives and implement future-ready operating models.  

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Act as a senior advocate for media excellence, from audience planning to omnichannel optimization. 

  • Lead teams in delivering forward-thinking media and investment strategies.  

  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent, building a diverse and high-performing team. 

  • Create learning and career growth opportunities that enhance engagement and motivation and innovation. 

  • Role model dentsu’s leadership attributes, inspiring others through integrity, compassion, and accountability. 

Qualifications 

  • 15+ years of experience leading complex regional or global client relationships. 

  • Proven success in driving growth, leading change, and managing integrated marketing teams. 

  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with a track record of delivering business impact. 

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. 

  • Well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player 

  • Proven track record, demonstrating discipline and commercial strength. 

  • Fully versed in leading change in complex organizations and implementing new operating models spanning across multiple marketing disciplines. 

  • A decisive individual who possesses a “big picture” perspective. 

  • Understands how to deliver in a way that motivates and drives high performance. 

The annual base salary range for this position is $236,000 - $330,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.  Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
