As an Executive Director in Media Strategy & Investment, you will shape how millions of consumers discover, engage with, and choose J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. You will lead media strategy across brand-building and direct-response initiatives, connecting upper-funnel awareness efforts with measurable acquisition outcomes. Working across marketing, analytics, finance, product, and agency partners, you will help define the future of media investment and promote growth for one of the industry's leading wealth management businesses. This role requires a strong balance of brand-building expertise, performance marketing experience, analytical rigor, and leadership capability.

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven media leader with strong analytics experience to oversee media planning, investment, and performance across our wealth management business. You will be responsible for developing integrated media strategies that build awareness, increase consideration, drive qualified demand, and support client acquisition objectives. This role requires a strong balance of brand-building expertise, performance marketing experience, analytical rigor, and leadership capability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive media strategy that aligns brand, acquisition, and business growth objectives.
  • Lead media investment decisions across channels including TV, paid search, social, video, streaming, programmatic, partnerships, and emerging platforms.
  • Optimize performance marketing programs to drive qualified leads, client acquisition, and marketing efficiency.
  • Design brand media strategies that increase awareness, consideration, and preference among priority audiences.
  • Partner with finance and analytics teams to establish measurement frameworks, attribution approaches, and testing strategies that inform profitable investment decisions.
  • Evaluate new channels, technologies, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve media effectiveness and drive innovation.
  • Manage external media agencies and strategic partners, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability measures.
  • Collaborate with product, digital experience, marketing strategy, finance, legal, and control teams to deliver integrated marketing programs.
  • Translate complex data and media performance trends into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing media organization while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in media strategy, media investment, performance marketing, brand marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale media budgets and multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Deep expertise across paid media channels, including search, social, video, display, and programmatic advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability to use analytics, testing, and measurement frameworks to guide investment decisions and improve business outcomes.
  • Strong experience leading agency relationships and overseeing media planning and execution.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across a matrixed organization.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in wealth management, financial services, consumer banking, fintech, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Expertise in media mix modeling, attribution, incrementality testing, customer lifetime value measurement, or advanced marketing analytics.
  • Experience leading both brand-building and performance marketing programs at scale.
  • Familiarity with audience strategy, personalization, and data-driven marketing practices.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
