About The Opportunity
We are seeking an adaptable and strategic Finance Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of business initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will lead end-to-end projects ranging from business process redesign and operational enhancements to regulatory compliance, M&A integration, and financial system implementations. You will ensure complex initiatives are executed smoothly, efficiently, and in line with long-term strategic goals

The Impact You Will Make

End-to-End Project Execution & Strategic Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional projects across a broad array of disciplines, including process improvement, regulatory/compliance rollouts, organizational restructures, and technology upgrades.

  • Scope out multi-phase projects, establish realistic timelines, allocate resources, and build clear roadmaps with measurable milestones.

  • Manage projects through the full lifecycle: kickoff, requirements gathering, planning, execution, monitoring, risk mitigation, and post-implementation review.

Business Process & Compliance Management

  • Map and evaluate current end-to-end business workflows; design and execute process improvements that boost productivity, reduce friction, and enhance control mechanisms.

  • Drive financial and operational compliance projects, ensuring alignment with changing tax laws, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), internal controls (SOX), and industry regulations.

  • Support strategic financial events, such as audit readiness, joint ventures, and post-merger integrations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

  • Partner closely with cross-departmental leads (Legal, HR, IT, Operations, Executive Leadership) to ensure alignment on business priorities and dependencies.

  • Build and lead comprehensive change management plans, including internal communication, training programs, and operational handoffs to ensure seamless adoption.

  • Deliver regular status reports, risk logs, and performance metrics to executive sponsors and leadership committees.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).

  • 5+ years of cross-functional project management experience within a finance, accounting, or business operations environment, in an enterprise where Finance has a high level of interdependence with Engineering/Development teams.

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering diverse business projects (process redesign, compliance/regulatory initiatives, operational restructuring, vendor/contract migrations, etc.).

  • Broad understanding of core financial workflows, accounting cycles, and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Strong project planning expertise using PM frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Lean, or hybrid).

  • Technical & PM Tools: Proficiency in project management software (Monday, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project) and process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart).

  • Certifications (Preferred): PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or CSM.
