About this role:

In this role, you will:
- Participate in functions related to financial research and reporting in support of a specific business unit, division, or product
- Review and forecast analysis of key metrics, as well as other financial consulting related to business performance, operating and strategic reviews
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities
- Research low to moderately complex financial data in support of management decision-making for a specific business unit, division, or product
- Create and communicate various activities such as product pricing, product, and portfolio performance
- Exercise independent judgment to guide key metrics forecasting, closing data and validation
- Present recommendations for resolving all aspects of delivering key forecasting projections as well as financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Develop expertise on reporting that meets brand standards and internal control standards
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, internal partners and managers within finance and a given line of business to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Assist in preparing risk and capital analysis reports for senior stakeholders, identifying trends and supporting recommendations for efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with team members to track progress on key initiatives and prepare updates for internal presentations.
- Help maintain data integrity and accuracy in capital and risk reporting processes.
- Contribute to the development and testing of tools and systems used for capital optimization and P&L analytics in partnership with Technology teams.
- Assist in researching and summarizing regulatory capital rules (e.g., Basel III, Volcker Rule) to support compliance and identify potential optimization opportunities.
- Assist in monitoring the quality and governance of risk and capital data, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Participate in data analysis projects related to traded products and capital calculations.
- Support deep-dive assessments of new products, trades, or emerging risks to evaluate capital and data implications.
- 2+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in market risk, capital markets, or data risk management.
- Familiarity with traded products (e.g., derivatives, securities), risk concepts (e.g., VaR, stress testing), and regulatory capital frameworks is a plus.
- Basic understanding of data governance and risk data aggregation principles.
- Proficiency in Excel/Powerpoint and interest in learning tools such as SQL or risk analytics platforms.
- Experience with Python and/or PowerBi
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
- Monday - Friday 8am to 5 pm EST
