Build and manage revenue pipelines for Long Lake-owned service businesses. Responsibilities include creating outbound sales motions, developing target lists and messaging, conducting multichannel outreach, identifying decision-makers, closing deals, forecasting pipeline, and using AI tools to automate research, lead generation, and follow-up. The role may also involve opening new sales channels, training or hiring salespeople, and shaping platform improvements that increase sales efficiency across business units.

We are transforming the services economy with AI.
Long Lake acquires service business and transforms how they operate through a shared AI platform, forward-deployed engineers, and a world-class M&A / operations team.

We're backed by General Catalyst, Alpha Wave, Elad Gil, and others, with billions in permanent capital raised. We are not a private equity fund but a permanent capital vehicle with an extremely long-term view.

The Role

We hire a small number of exceptional entrepreneurs, operators, and salespeople at Long Lake and deploy them into the companies we own with a clear mandate: build a pipeline, directly drive revenue growth, and raise the ceiling on how that business sells.

The best people in this role begin as individual contributors and grow into sales leaders and growth operators. As you refine your process and establish yourself as a power user of our AI platform, what you ask for shapes what gets built.

What You’ll Do

Some people in this role are deployed to drive top-of-funnel, sourcing opportunities through high-velocity cold outbound. Some are deployed to close, running deals from discovery through signature. Sometimes you're standing the motion up from scratch, sometimes the business already sells well and you're adding firepower and iterating to refine the process.

Problems you might work on:

  • Building an outbound motion where none exists: target list, messaging, sequencing

  • Learning an industry you've never sold into deeply enough to hold your own with industry veterans

  • Navigating large and complex organizational structures to identify key decision makers and potential champions

  • Over-delivering on monthly quotas via multi-channel outreach

  • Opening channels the business has never sold through: conducting the first outreach and closing the first deals

  • Running your day on Long Lake’s AI platform to automate research, lead generation, and follow-up, and tell our technology team what to build next so that every rep who comes after you can drive revenue more efficiently

What Success Looks Like
  • You build significant pipeline in your first quarter, and the business can point to deals that would not have happened without you

  • Pipeline is visible and forecastable; management knows what will close next month and why

  • The outbound playbook you built runs without you and has been picked up by a second Long Lake business

  • An automation you spec'd runs in the platform, and reps across multiple verticals use it every day

  • You've hired or trained salespeople, and your own activity and conversion are still the bar they're measured against

Equal Opportunity
Long Lake is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities throughout the hiring process - please let us know if you need any.
