The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Build a founding account management function, owning renewals, retention, and expansion while creating repeatable post-sales processes.
What you'll do
- Run customer check-ins and turn feedback into product priorities.
- Negotiate renewals, seat expansion, upsells, and term extensions.
- Drive adoption of new features across a large customer base.
- Build dashboards and automations to identify churn risk and growth opportunities.
- Maintain account plans and represent customer needs in roadmap discussions.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 3 to 7 years in customer success, account management, or post-sales work at a B2B software company.
- Direct ownership of retention, expansion, and renewals.
- Early-stage startup experience and ability to create processes without an existing playbook.
- Experience building dashboards or automations and managing many accounts in a CRM.
- A bachelor's degree and strong communication with senior stakeholders.
Bonus points
- Experience serving legal or other professional services firms.
Benefits
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 104,000 to 144,000 per year.
- Equity: 0.25-0.45%.
- On-target earnings: USD130,000 to USD180,000 per year, with an 80% base and 20% performance split tied to retention and expansion.

Location and work model
- Five days per week in the New York office, with four work-from-home weeks per year. Customer travel is required.
