Growth Development Rep

Meet Spur
Spur has made a fundamental change in the testing piece. We help the world's largest brands like Aloyoga, NextDoor, LivingSpaces protect every checkout and every conversion with AI browser agents that simulate shoppers while navigating through the site. The company is backed by top tier VCs like FirstRound Capital, YCombinator, PearVC.

The team

Anuhska, and Sneha the co-founders have a combination of deep technical and product experience (deepmind and figma). Every person on the team punches much above our weight, we are all high leverage operators made up of ex-founders, customers and competitors.(what more could you want). We are a team of thoughtful and resourceful operators.

We’re building AI agents that are changing the game for testing. Moving away from test scripts in code, to natural language based instructions that can tell the agent to just “checkout an item, and make sure the invoice is received in a confirmation email”. Days of work just automated in a single line. This is what we deliver to every customer.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Growth Development Rep (GDR) — part SDR, part field marketer, part content creator — to own top-of-funnel growth and bring Spur’s story to life. We have closed the biggest brands from inbound networks built on linkedin and through our customer referrals, and we;re looking for someone to join our sales team to drive up that top of the funnel and bring the company to the next stage of growth.

You’ll generate pipeline through intelligent outbound, creative storytelling, and live event activation. You’ll be the first person many prospects meet — online and in person — and your energy will set the tone for how the world experiences Spur.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Lead Generation & Outbound

  • Research and prioritize high-intent e-commerce and retail brands using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, Apollo, and 6sense.

  • Build multi-touch sequences across email, LinkedIn, and Slack Connect to book high-quality meetings.

  • Qualify leads through discovery calls and hand off to AEs with crisp context.

  • Track outreach and performance in HubSpot / Notion CRM.

B) Event & Conference Activation

  • Partner with marketing on pre-event campaigns for conferences like ShopTalk and NRF.

  • Work our booth, give live demos, and engage attendees with authentic conversation (not scripts).

  • Coordinate pop-up dinners or “live test sessions” with the Spur team.

  • Follow up within 24 hours using personalized Looms and DMs.

Key Impact:
  • Be the engine behind Spur’s growth — turning outreach, content, and events into qualified pipeline.

  • Put Spur in front of every major e-commerce brand that should know us.

  • Directly impact revenue by fueling meetings, demos, and expansion conversations.

🧩 You Might Be a Fit If You…
  • Have 0-2 years of experience in SDR, growth, or creator-led marketing roles.

  • Are comfortable on camera and love storytelling.

  • Write clever, clear outreach messages and actually enjoy the hunt.

  • Thrive in fast-moving startup environments where you can experiment and own results.

  • Care about the future of AI, automation, and how technology shapes commerce.
