As a Product Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, you work closely with the product team to provide insights and data to support a product (e.g., application, system, discipline) within a function. You are a quick learner and will have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple areas of the product area (e.g., product management, product delivery, product portfolio operations, etc.) that will prepare you for a career in the product organization.

This role includes hands-on application of  AI-enabled capabilities that improve client and internal user outcomes, with clear accountability for the AI SDLC end-to-end across definition, delivery, and ongoing production operations.

AI SDLC expectations include:

  • Define and prioritize AI use cases aligned to product outcomes for authorized parties and permissions management, including measurable success metrics and guardrails
  • Assess data readiness and partner with data engineering and governance teams on sourcing, data quality, lineage, access controls, retention, and documentation required for AI/ML use
  • Partner with engineering, data science, and platform teams on model development or model selection (including build versus buy considerations), with clear requirements for explainability and fit-for-purpose performance
  • Ensure governance-aligned delivery, including documentation, auditability, and active partnership with model risk and control functions throughout design, implementation, approval, and ongoing monitoring
  • Apply AI within complex, permissioned data environments (high sensitivity, high consequence workflows) while maintaining strict adherence to entitlements, audit trails, and least-privilege access

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with product manager to learn techniques to elicit, specify, discover, and document customer requirements
  • Tracks and reports out on key performance indicators and product metrics set by leadership
  • Supports product team in analysis of customer needs and market opportunities
  • Assist in research and data collection

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Baseline knowledge in a relevant domain area, project management, or equivalent expertise
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Emerging level knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Understanding of basic analytics tools
