About Linero

Linero is building the operational infrastructure that ensures the world's most sensitive technologies reach the right hands, and never the wrong ones.

Our customers include some of the most consequential companies in the world: leading AI labs, aerospace and defense primes, semiconductor giants, quantum computing pioneers, and companies pushing the frontier in chemicals, advanced manufacturing, and robotics.

We are an AI-native, venture-backed company creating a new category of software at the intersection of national security, industrial infrastructure, and enterprise AI.

The Role

As GM of Linero's Startup Segment, you will be responsible for a significant and distinct part of Linero's commercial growth. Linero already works with some of the most consequential enterprises in the world, and we are ready to expand our offering to thousands of startups across the globe. You will be the person who makes that happen.

This means defining the product requirements unique to this customer segment, working with product and engineering to build the right solutions, shaping the go-to-market strategy, building the sales pipeline, setting the pricing, and forging the partnerships that make the startup segment a meaningful part of Linero's story.

You will report directly to the CEO and operate with entrepreneurial energy and significant autonomy.

What You'll Own

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Linero's startup segment, from positioning and pricing to sales motion and partnerships

  • Build and manage a pipeline of startup customers across AI, defense tech, semiconductors, and adjacent verticals

  • Own the full commercial relationship with startup customers, from first conversation through close and beyond

  • Work closely with product and engineering to define the right product solutions for this unique subset of customers

  • Develop pricing and packaging strategies tailored to the startup segment without compromising Linero's enterprise positioning

  • Build partnerships and distribution channels that extend Linero's reach into the startup ecosystem: accelerators, venture firms, industry associations, and more

  • Hire and develop a small customer success function for the segment as it scales

  • Report on segment performance directly to the CEO and contribute to company-wide strategy discussions

What We're Looking For

  • We are open to diverse backgrounds: former founders, management consultants with an entrepreneurial edge, sales leaders, and military veterans; what matters above all is hustle, intellect, and creativity

  • Demonstrated ability to build something from scratch

  • Strong commercial instincts; you understand how to find customers, create urgency, and close deals

  • Enough technical fluency to engage credibly with startup founders and engineering teams

  • Exceptional communication and relationship skills; you are compelling in a room and trusted over time

  • A genuine affinity for the startup ecosystem; you know how these companies think, what they need, and how to earn their trust

  • High autonomy, high accountability

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience

  • Early equity in a company with proven market demand and a clear growth trajectory

  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision

  • The opportunity to lead a business segment at one of the most consequential technology companies being built today

Equal opportunity & eligibility

  • Linero is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

  • Start date is immediate, with flexibility for the right candidate. If you are not based in New York, we can accommodate remote work for an initial period and offer relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
