We're Sharp Performance

Our mission is to extend the service-life and health span of those who run toward danger: law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and the military community. The people who do this work pay a price for it. Agencies lose their best people to burnout and attrition, and the standard options were never built for the job.

Sharp Performance connects frontline professionals with 1:1 performance coaches through our mobile platform. Our coaches have lived the job. Our methods come from the cognitive performance world of U.S. Special Operations. We built this company from inside the community we serve.

We're backed by Andreessen Horowitz and growing fast, with new agency partnerships signing every month. The standard is high. The mission is clear. If you want your next chapter to serve the people you came from, we should talk.

The Opportunity

You're curious. You're analytical. You like figuring things out.

Sharp Performance is hiring a Growth & Lifecycle Marketer to help us build the marketing engine from the ground up. You'll be responsible for finding new ways to reach the right audiences, turn interest into action, and keep prospects and customers engaged.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit a giant marketing machine and manage someone else's playbook.

You'll help build the playbook.

You'll experiment with acquisition channels, build campaigns, test messaging, create lifecycle programs, and use data to figure out what's working—and what's not.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to have an outsized impact early in your career and grow with a fast-moving Series A company.

What You'll Own

You'll help own the growth and lifecycle funnel for Sharp Performance.

Your job is simple: find opportunities to grow, build experiments, measure what happens, and make it better.

You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Product Analytics to turn ideas into experiments, experiments into learnings, and learnings into scalable growth.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Run Growth Experiments: Test new channels, campaigns, messaging, audiences, and ideas to find what drives growth.
  • Build Demand: Create campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, and qualified opportunities across our target markets.
  • Own Lifecycle Marketing: Build email campaigns, nurture sequences, onboarding programs, and re-engagement campaigns that move prospects and customers through the funnel.
  • Optimize Conversion: Look at every stage of the funnel and identify where we're losing people—and what we can do to improve it.
  • Get Your Hands Dirty: Build campaigns, workflows, automations, lists, and experiments directly in tools like HubSpot and Clay.
  • Partner With RevOps: Work closely with RevOps to improve segmentation, automation, lead routing, data quality, and the marketing-to-sales handoff.
  • Use Data to Make Decisions: Partner with Product Analytics to understand customer behavior, measure performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Build, Measure, Iterate: Launch something, measure it, learn from it, and make it better. Then do it again.
  • Find the Next Thing: We're still building the playbook. You'll be expected to identify opportunities we haven't thought of yet.

Who We're Looking For

  • Hungry Tinkerer: You like figuring things out. Give you a problem and you'll find a way to solve it.
  • Startup Experience: 2–4 years of experience, ideally at a Seed, Series A, or Series B startup where you've had to wear a lot of hats.
  • Growth Mindset: You've actually run experiments and tested ideas—not just read about growth marketing.
  • Hands-On: You're a builder. You'd rather launch something yourself than spend three weeks writing a brief for someone else.
  • Analytical: You enjoy working with data, identifying patterns, forming hypotheses, and measuring results.
  • Technically Curious: Comfortable learning new tools and technology. Experience with HubSpot, Clay, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Creative & Resourceful: You don't need a playbook to get started. You can come up with an idea, figure out how to execute it, and learn from the result.
  • Collaborative: You enjoy working across Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Product Analytics.
  • Competitive: You care about outcomes. You want to know whether your work actually moved the needle.

Why You'll Want to Be Here

  • Real Ownership: You won't be handed a narrow piece of the marketing machine. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful parts of it.
  • High Growth Environment: Join a Series A company that's growing quickly and already working with 100+ public safety agencies.
  • Backed by a16z: We're backed by Andreessen Horowitz and investors behind some of the world's most successful technology companies.
  • Mission That Matters: You're helping improve the health, performance, and longevity of the people who run toward danger.
  • Career Growth: This is an opportunity to grow into a larger growth, demand generation, or lifecycle marketing role as the company scales.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision.
  • Flexible PTO: Recharge and stay sharp, no micromanagement.
  • 401(k) with Company Match: We invest in your future.
  • Performance Coaching: Access to the same elite performance coaches we offer our clients.
  • A Team Built Like You: We're operators, first responders, and high-performers who don't accept average.
